Peter doesn't like Tony in this story as much. Just go with it.
"Alright class. For this next grade, you will be pulling names out of a hat. The names are celebrities who have decided to participate. Whoever you pick, you'll hang out with them for two months and by the end, you'll have to write an essay. However long you want just get the questions answered." Peter groans and buried his head in his arms. Ned just chuckled softly before patting Peters back.
"Let's start with Flash." He smirks and walks to the front of the class and puts his hand in the hat. He unfolds the paper he picks and dust bumps the air.
"Jennifer Lawrence boys." His friends clap and Peter rolls his eyes again. The teacher continues to randomly call on people until she chooses Peter. He drags his feet as he makes his way to the front. He pulls out a name and sighs.
"Tony Stark." Everyone stares at him before they begin to talk excitedly about how great the Tony Stark is. He rolls his eyes, again, and makes his way back to his seat. Ned just smiles at him brightly.
"Dude, you get to hang out with Tony Stark!" Peter just gave a sarcastic smile before putting his face in his arms again.

Peter just arrived at the tower the next day, Saturday, and he pulled the pass he got out of his bag. The other people gave him a weird look. He scanned his badge and jumped slightly at the voice.
"Peter Parker, level 9. Expires in two months. Welcome Mr.Parker. Boss is in his lab waiting for you to arrive." The workers look on confused. Their confusion only grows when they see the kid roll his eyes slightly but smiles and responds to the AI kindly.
"Where's his lab?" Friday leads him to the elevator which takes him to the lab. He walks in to see Tony sitting at his desk writing something down. Peter clears his throat causing the older man to turn around. He smirks at the kid.
"You must be Mr.Parker. It's nice to meet you." He holds out his hand and Peter shakes it, smiling sarcastically.
"Nice to meet you as well Mr.Stark." The sentence was dripping with sarcasm. Tony's smirk fell.
"I'm starting to get the feeling you don't like me that much. I don't know why, but I won't change your mind." That shocks Peter but he doesn't show it. He just asks if they can get started. They do and their conversation lasts for hours.

Peter realizes that about half way through the first month, he starts to actually like talking to Tony. They don't talk any later than six because Peter leaves to go on patrol. Tony doesn't need to know that little piece of information. One day, he got a little more banged up than usual. He would wince whenever he stretched his side because he was stabbed and it was still in the healing process. That said, it took a little longer to get to the tower. The interns smiled at him as he walked in and he smiled back. He went to Tony's lab and the man gave him a slightly concerned look.
"You're thirty minutes late. It's probably nothing, but you're usually right on time." Peter just gave a small smile.
"I'm fine Mr.Stark. I just had to talk to a teacher." Tony stared at him for a few more minutes before looking back down at his desk. Peter sighed and walked to his chair. He sat down slowly. Tony turned to him again.
"You sure you're good kid?" Peter just groans and rolls his eyes in annoyance. He may enjoy his time with Tony a little more, but he still didn't really like the man.
"I'm fine Mr.Stark." Tony just sighed and turned back to his work. It was quiet for almost an hour. Then Peter reached for something and he hissed as he felt his wound stretch.
"Alright kid, what's wrong? Don't say you're fine." Peter rolled his eyes and was about to respond, saying he was fine, when Tony spoke before him.
"Friday, what's wrong with the kid?"
"Stab wound on his right side sir." It was almost funny how fast Tony's eyes widened. He hurried over to the kid and touched his shoulder.
"Why were you stabbed? Why didn't you tell me you were stabbed? Are you okay? What happened? Jesus Christ kid." Tony continued to ramble until Peter cut him off.
"Mr.Stark, I'm fine. It's not that bad. My aunt can check it out. She's a nurse. I have to go home now actually. I'll see you tomorrow." He was not going to tell May.

It was a week later when Peter was out on patrol and he got hurt again. It was worse this time though. He was leaning against a building when he asked his AI what he should do.
"Well, Peter, I would recommend going to a hospital. But if you want more privacy, Tony Stark would be more helpful anyways." Peter groans before he realizes he doesn't really have any other option.
"Could you possibly find a way to warn him that I'll be coming?"
"Of course Peter."
"Thanks Karen." Peter stands up slowly and hisses as everything begins to hurt. He lifts up his hand and realizes it's covered in blood. He groans again before pressing it back on his wound and lifting his other hand to use the web. He gets to the tower slower than when he walks and enters through an open window. Doctors surround him instantly right before he passes out.

He groans as he wakes up. He tries to open his eyes but the lights are too bright.
"Friday, turn down the lights." Peter jumps slightly at the other voice in the room and opens his eyes. When he does, he sees Tony Stark looking down at him with eyes full of concern and stress.
"Why didn't you tell me Peter?" He begins to panic and brings his hand to his face. His mask was gone, but there was a bandage wrapped around his forehead.
"We had to take off your mask because you had a really bad head injury. You could've told me Peter. I could've made you a safer suit. Now that I know I'll definitely make you a safer suit. Also your AI, how did you make her?" Peter just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Tony chuckled and rubbed his face.
"You're stressing me out kid."

The two months were almost over and Peter was surprisingly upset about it. They became really close after he found out about Spider-Man. He was Peters mentor now. He may have called him dad once, but they don't mention it (Tony thinks about it everyday). Tony's met May and they both bonded over being protective of the boy. It was the last day and Peter was trying to ask random questions to take up as much time as possible. It was almost time for his pass to expire and his mood dropped with every reminder from Friday. It was when Friday said he only had ten minutes left when Tony let out a sigh.
"Friday, make Peters badge permanent. And make it level ten." The AI responds saying that it's been done. Peter stares at Tony in shock.
"Wha- how- why would you want to do that?" Tony smiled fondly at the kid.
"You're a good kid Pete. Also the level ten is so you can go up to the penthouse with us. You like the Avengers right? Especially Bruce Banner?" Peters smile was wide as he pulled Tony into a hug. He got a one hundred on his essay and a room in between Tony's and Bruce's.~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: it physically pains me to write Peter not liking Tony so that couldn't last long. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you, in the next chapter. BUH-BYE!!!
