I'm late but thank you guys for 8k reads ❤️

Peter woke up with a groan as his alarm went off, but his face quickly changed to one of happiness as he remembered what day it was. He got out of bed as May opened the door. She gave Peter a bright smile before handing him a small bag.
"Happy birthday Peter! I'm sorry I couldn't get you much, but I hope you like it." Peter thanked her before opening his present. His eyes widened as he pulled the black leather jacket out of the bag that had a small, red spider near the chest. He smiled at May before pulling her into a hug.
"Thank you May. I love it." She smiled at him one more time before walking out of the room, telling him to hurry up. He put on some black skinny jeans and a white shirt to put on with his jacket.
—time skip—
Peter walked up to his locker and opened it quickly. He finished what he needed to do when he felt someone tapping his shoulder. He turned around and smiled as he saw Ned.
"Happy birthday Peter!" Peter laughed softly as they did their handshake. Mj walked up to them a few minutes later and gave him a small smile.
"Happy birthday dork." They continued to talk as they made their way to class.
—time skip—
It was the end of school and they were sitting on a bench near the front door.
"You need to open my present first because I'm your best friend." Peter laughed but did as he was told and opened Ned's present. He gasped as he saw what it was.
"Twenty one pilots?!" Ned nodded excitedly.
"Yup. Three tickets for me, you and Mj. They're right next to the stage so we can see them a little better." Peter pulled Ned into a tight hug before looking at the tickets again.
"Alright loser. Open my present now." Peter smiled at the girl and took the gift. He opened it and his smile brightened. It was a Spider-Man sweatshirt.
"Where did you get this? I didn't know they made Spider-Man stuff." Mj just shrugged, trying to keep the uninterested look on her face but failing slightly.
"Walmart. They have a ton of spidey stuff." Peter gave her a quick hug before standing up.
"Well I'll see you guys later. I have to walk home and I want to get there before it starts to rain." His two friends give him a confused look.
"Why isn't Happy getting you?" Peter pulled his backpack into his shoulder.
"He's on vacation right now. And I don't think anyone from the team can get me. They're probably busy. Anyways, see you guys later!"
—time skip—
It was almost midnight and Happy was the only person to text Peter saying happy birthday. Tony didn't even text him. He didn't think too much about it though. They were probably busy.
—another skip because I'm lazy—
Happy got back from vacation and he was sitting in the parking lot of Peters school. He saw him talking to his friends and he was beginning to get impatient.
"Fri, put Peters conversation through the speakers." It was quiet for a while until he heard Peters voice fill the car even though he wasn't inside.
"Guys it's fine. They were probably busy." Happy was confused. Who was probably busy?
"Peter, they could've taken two minutes out of their day to tell you happy birthday. It's not that they were busy."
"I know they weren't. They forgot and that's okay. It's nothing important really. It was just another birthday. They're the Avengers. That's not as important as a mission if there was one." Happy was not very happy. How could Tony forget about his kids birthday? He looked up and saw Peter heading towards the car. He unlocked the door and smiled at the kid.
"Hey Peter. How was your birthday?" Peter smiled softly and began to ramble on about what he got and what he did. Happy noticed his usual excitement wasn't as noticeable.
—time skip to tower—
They walked out of the elevator and greeted the team. Peter was about to follow Tony to the labs before Happy put a hand on Peters shoulder.
"Hold on Pete. I have a present for you." He walked to the hall closet and grabbed a small bag. The team looked at the two in confusion. Peter grabbed it slowly and gave Happy a hesitant look.
"You didn't have to. I got more than enough." Happy rolled his eyes fondly before gesturing to the gift. Peter slowly pulled the present out and stared at it in shock. In his hands were car keys to a very expensive car.
"Happy, you really didn't have to. I can't accept this. This is too much. You could've gotten something for yourself." Happy rolled his eyes before cutting Peter off.
"But I don't need anything else. Happy late birthday kid." Peter hugged Happy as the teams eyes widened.
"Birthday?" Bucky asked in a small voice. Tony looked at Peter guiltily.
"Your birthday was two weeks ago. I'm so sorry Pete." Peter just gave them a kind smile.
"It's okay. I don't really like big celebrations anyways." The team still looked guilty so Peter just gave them a brighter smile.
"How about we go out for dinner and you guys can pay for me?" The team just smiled at the kid and Tony wrapped his arm around the teens shoulder.
"Where do you wanna go Pete?"
