Lego Ninjago; Unknown Legacy

Chapter 3, Friends

" Welcome, what can I help you with?" 

" Hey Alex. It's me, Daren."

It took him minute to realize who I was. We haven't seen each other since middle school. We both shook hands.

" What's the sword for?" He asked.

" I actually came here to talk to you about something." I said. 

I pulled it out of my scabbard and i gave it to me. He held it and swished it around.

" So, I was wandering if you would like to come on an adventure with me. I'm trying to find something that will lead me closer to finding out what happened to my uncle and aunt. Do you want to come??" 

He gave me back my sword. I pulled out my map and i showed it to Alex and I pointed to the location of the golden sword.

" Here, this temple is where I'm going. "

" Okay, let's go. I'll be back." he said.

He went into another section of the dojo. He came back with a double blade weapon thing. It had the tip of a scythe on each end. One was pointing up and the other pointing down. He twirled it around and he put it in his scabbard. We walked through the exit, and we headed to one last place i needed to go. We were heading to a tea shop on the other side of Ninjago. My friend from school actually worked there. On the way, we talked about all the years we haven't seen each other. Alex has been working at the dojo for two years. I told him I took over my uncle's blacksmith shop. A few minutes later, we made it. The tea shop was a sand green color. There was a big sign that said tea. I opened the door and Alex followed me in.  

" Mistake, are you here?"

" Hello dear."

An old woman appeared from the storage room. She had a sweater on, and she was wearing a straw hat. I asked her if my friend was working today. She called out her name.

" Violet, you have some visitors." she said 

A girl with blonde hair came from the back. 

" Hey Daren." she said

We shook hands. 

"It's been a while since I've seen both of you, so tell me what's new."

I asked Mistake if she could get us some tea. We all sat down at a table. 

"Well, I've been working at my fathers' Dojo alongside with my younger brother," Alex said

" And I have been working at my uncles' blacksmith shop, but that's beside the point, I came here today to invite you on an adventure."

I pulled out my map and i unrolled it on the table. I pointed at the golden sword and told her that we were heading there.

" Sure, I'll join you guys."

Mistake came a minute later with a tray of teas. She gave us each a cup and we sipped at the hot beverage.

" Thanks." I said

" You're welcome." She replied.

 We drank our tea and the we headed outside and a minute later, Violet came outside with a backpack. She had a sai attached to each side on her belt. She was very prepared for the adventure. Mistake also came outside to wish us luck. We then waited for the bus to arrive. It would drop us off at the border of the city, and then we could walk from there to the forest.

" How long has it been since we went on an adventure?" Violet asked.

" I'm pretty sure it was when we were kids." I replied.

" Right, that one time I found a kitten in my backyard, and we chased it. Man, I really wanted it," Alex said.

We all giggled. I miss this feeling, when I'm with my friends and we are all having fun, but now we are back together. I hope when we find this sword, we could all try to solve the mystery of my missing uncle and aunt. The bus arrived, and we stepped on. We all grabbed some seats and waited to arrive. Little did I know that this was going to be a long adventure.
