Alex fell off the mountain and into one of Garmadon's portals. Seconds later he felt the impact of a floor beneath his back. His golden weapon fell besides him.
"What the-"
He was interrupted when he saw Garmadon come out of the portal with his staff pointed down. Alex immediately rolled over to dodge. He quickly stood up and looked around. This place was dark but he noticed floating chunks of land that were all connected by bridges made out of wooden planks.
"Where am I?" Alex asked.
Garmadon stood up and faced him.
"You're in the underworld and when we leave this place you won't be able to even stand."
"Oh yeah, try me," Alex said.
Garmadon twirled his staff and lunged at Alex. He swung the staff to his side, but Alex quickly blocked it with his golden weapon. He then moved it upwards and tried to catch Garmadon by surprise, but Garamdon actually got a hold of his golden weapon. He took it out of his hands, and he threw it on the floor. He then swung his staff. Alex brought both arms up to block that swing. The staff hit his arms and he felt a sting. He took a step forward and threw a punch at his opponent. Garmadon leaned back and dodged the swing, dropped down and swept Alex's legs. He fell into another portal that opened up beneath him. He landed on a different floating rock. He stood up but was surprised to see Garmadon was not there, but instead he found himself surrounded by a group of skeletons.
"Oh, this is much better." Alex said sarcastically.
A skeleton swung its sword from behind him. He turned around and destroyed the skeleton by swinging his golden weapon through its fragile body. Two more on his right attacked. He spun and kicked it away from him, but the second skeleton got past him and landed a cut on his arm, it wasn't deep though. He grabbed its arm and threw it on the floor. He swung his golden weapon at three more skeletons, and they were pushed off the rock. One if the skeletons managed to kick his back which led Alex to fall forward, but he didn't fall face flat on the floor, instead he fell through another portal. He landed then landed on what appeared to be a kitchen table.
"Wait this is my dining table" Alex said.
He then saw a couple more skeletons appear out of the portal. He rolled over and dodged them. The first one to land on the table broke it and it shattered into pieces. Then three more fell through. Alex then looked around and noticed that his golden weapon wasn't there, it must have been left in that other place he was at. Alex brought up both hands into a fighting stance. He then ran forwards, leapt on a chair with one foot, brought back his right arm and threw a powerful punch at the skeleton's head. He then spun around and kicked the one behind it, back into the wall. He shoved the skeleton he punched to his left and then spun to his right only to dodge one of the skeletons swords. It lodged itself to the wall behind Alex. Another skeleton threw a kick, but Alex moved his hand downwards to block it. It spun and threw another kick towards his chest. Alex blocked it, managed to grab his leg and threw it on the floor. A skeleton behind him wrapped it arms around his waist and moved Alex the back wall. Another skeleton ran up to him and threw a punch at his face. He moved his head to dodge it and its arm made a hole in the wall and was now stuck. Alex noticed the sword lodged in the wall. He reached over with his left hand, grabbed it and swung it across the skeletons neck. It collapsed on the floor. He then spun the sword and stabbed it all the way through the skeleton's chest. He walked towards the broken table and knelt down. He looked around the mess and found a dagger. It must have been from one of the four skeletons.
"Wait, but none of them were carrying daggers, were they?" Alex asked himself out loud.
"Yes, but I was" someone said.
