Samukai swung a dagger to the right, then another to the left. Violet blocked each attack with her Sai, matching his pace. She hoped that she could best him since she was surround by her element. The problem was that she hadn't mastered the element yet. She threw a swing and her Sai struck across his chest plate. He followed with a strike of his own and she moved back to dodge it. Samukai ordered the skeletons behind him to attack her as he backed up.
"Can't handle all of this?" Violet said.
Samukai scowled and let his goons make their move. A skeleton with an axe attacked first. He swung it from the right. Violet directed the axe above her head with her Sai, then she slashed her left Sai across his face. She pushed the skeleton aside and then was attacked by two more from both sides. The one on her left swung a sword at her legs and the one on the right swung his sword at her head. She moved her body to lay horizontally. Both of their weapons swung past her as she threw a Sai at each of them, pushing them away from her. She moved back into a fighting stance only to see four more skeletons approaching her. Samukai followed behind them. Her right arm glowed with blue energy, and she pointed it at the skeletons.
"C'mon water don't fail me now," she said.
She pushed her arm forward and the skeletons were stopped in their places. She saw a faint beam emitting from her arm and a glow surrounding the skeletons. They we stuck because of the water around them. She smirked and moved her arm to the right. They all were thrown out of the way and shattered against the walls. Then she felt something pull her leg. Samukai had snuck around the other skeletons and had reached her. He brought up a dagger and struck the back of her thigh. Violet yelled out in pain and kicked him away from her. She moved up to the roof of the room, then flipped upside down to kick off of the ceiling. She ran right onto Samukai and pushed him onto the floor. The impact made him lose grip of a dagger and she grabbed it. Now on top of him, she swung the dagger across his chest plate. He punched her side with his free hand and swam out of his position. He struck a dagger forward and she spun to her left to dodge it. He then grabbed her right arm and pulled her right up to him, her back facing him. He had her in his grip again. He then stabbed a dagger in her air tank.
"No what the-!"
A loud noise filled the room as the tank exploded. The blast launched Samukai back through the water and sent Violet crashing into a wall. She hit it face first and it completely shattered her visor. She was immediately met with the cold sting of the water. The room was now much darker because her visor was the only way of seeing clearly. She couldn't hold her breath for long. She looked around and saw something sparkle off to her left. It was the golden weapon, and it was lodged into a round stone, the same shape as the one Alex's weapon was. She slowly made her way to it, but she could feel her lungs giving out. She held out her hand and reached for the weapon. Then she lost sight of it as Samukai threw a punch to her chest. It caught her by surprise, causing her to open her mouth for a slit second. It was enough to lose her energy. She couldn't move anymore. Samukai reached for the weapon and attempted to pull it out of the stone. If he escapes with it, then Garmadon would be one step closer to whatever his evil plan was. She would have to live with the fact that she wasn't able to stop it. All she could was watch as the water filled her lungs, floating in the darkness. No. That wasn't an option. She couldn't give up now. She closed her eyes and focused. Now was the time for her to connect with her element. She clenched her fists as elemental energy surround her hands, then her arms, and then until her body was covered with it.
"Samukai!!!" she yelled.
She didn't feel heavy anymore. She took breathes as if the water wasn't even there. She then threw a beam of energy at Samukai, pushing him away from the weapon. The whole room lit up from Violet's energy. She then took off the scuba gear around her neck and chest, then took of her special flipper shoes. With a boost of energy, she launched herself to the weapon, grabbed it, and pulled it out of the stone. It was a golden trident. It was also then surrounded by elemental energy as she grabbed it. She looked at it and then brough her attention to Samukai.
