"To Heather's," Scarlet said.
Gray dropped Tommy off at their house and Lucy at hers, then went to go pick up Ethan. He said he wanted to change clothes before he went to the guild. Once Gray picked him up, they headed downtown.
The downtown guild was like a big church, on the outside, but on the inside it a different story. As you walk in you are in the main hall. The main hall is were everyone in the guild hangs out and fights. There's not a lot of fights between the guild members, but when there is its only for shits and giggles. There are booths lined along the walls and tables in rows in the middle of the room. At the far back wall there is a bar. Faith is the main bartender, but she really doesn't drink. There are a few other people who work there, but they don't pay them, so not very many people want to do it. They serve alcohol and juice. The juice is mainly for the little kids, because unlike some of the other guilds who let the kids drink, they don't. Behind the bar is a door. The door leads to a kitchen where Olivia cooks stuff for the guild. Beside the bar is two doors, each on either side of it. If you are facing the bar, the one on the right goes to all of the peoples offices. Like Heather's and the guild master's. The one on the left leads to the infirmary, the bathroom, and a stair case. Up the stair case you go to were people can except missions. On missions you can go help people in need. Or as Gray says, 'we can go help people who are too fucking lazy to get off their asses and figure out their own problems.' There is also a reward if you finish the mission, successfully. Its always money, but the higher the difficulty gets the more money you get. Sometimes there is some other kind of reward along with money if it is extremely difficult. If you destroy something, which happens often, you will have to pay for the repair.
Ethan loved the guild. He probably gets there everyday after he gets his homework done, but he also will take some time to go down to Gray's and hang out. Scarlet doesn't like it as much as him but she will be there three times a week. And then there is Gray. He only goes when someone needs to talk to him, an emergency, or to expect a mission.
They go in the guild, not ever many people are in the guild, which is odd. Normally by the afternoon most people will be there.
Thomson came up to them and said to Gray, "hey man, I haven't seen you around here in a while."
"Go the hell away Thomson." Gray snapped.
"Geez, I was just saying hello. Is that a crime?"
Gray shrugged and headed toward Heather's office. Scarlet followed with Ethan behind. When they got in the office Heather was sitting at the desk.
"Hello take a seat please," Heather said. They hesitated for a minute before sitting down. "You are probably wondering why I called you down. Well last night, you probably already heard on the news, that the mayor of the town got murdered last night."
"No that never come up in the news today," Ethan commented. He always watched the news in the morning before he gets picked up by Gray.
"Weird," Heather said in a low voice.
"Maybe," Scarlet suggested, "they didn't want anyone to freak out."
"Maybe, but we don't really have any lead way on the crime but the government called us and told us to take care of the person who killed him. Once Master hung up he said that the strongest members to take this job. And you guys were the ones we picked."
"Okay we will get on that," Ethan said, standing.
"Wait there's something else," Heather said, "sit back down."
Ethan obeyed, "so what's the second thing?"
"Your friend, Lucy is it?" With a nod from Ethan and Scarlet, she continued, "well does she know?"
