"Momma, where are we going? I wanna know! Tell me please!"

"Just hold on a moment."

"I don't think I can wait! Please just tell me! Please! Please! Please! I need to know."

"I will tell you in a minture. All you have to do is keep your eyes closed. And once we get there, I will let you know. But for now, keep quiet."

"Okay."

The young 6 year old boy hummed a song his mom taught him, as his mom held his hand pulling him to where ever they were going. He had his eyes closed, but he wanted to peak badly.

It was the boy's 6th birthday and his mom was talking him to the park for a surprise. No matter how many times his mom tells him not to peak, he does every once in a while.

There was a rustle in the bushes. The boy was about to open his eyes to hopefully see an animal running across the path. But before he could his mom stoped him.

"Gray," his mom sounded worried, "keep your eyes closed, sweetie."

"But momma-"

"Please. Don't open them."

Gray nodded, "alright."

"Give me your money," a raspy voice spoke.

"I am sorry, but I don't have any," him mom said. She didn't sound as worried as she did a moment ago. But there was still a hint of it.

"Don't lie, you know you do. Now give it to me, all of it."

"You are a thief. I wouldn't not give you any money even if I had some."

"I will shoot you."

At that Gray opened his eyes and saw a silver pistol pointed at his mom's head. Gray jumped and stepped back a little. The man holding the gun pointed the gun at Gray.

"Don't move little kid." Gray slightly nodded. Afraid to speck. The man pointed the gun at his mom again. "Well, got any money?"

She nodded, "alright, I will give you the money. But please don't hurt me or him."

"Fine." She handed him all the money she had on her. He shook his head. "Your husband is rich, you must carry more money than this!"

"I don't, that's all! I swear! We mostly keep all the money in the bank."

"I swear," he paused for a moment. And then said, "fine be that stupid. You are an idiot for not giving me all the money you got." He pulled the trigger.

Gray's eyes went wide and he saw his mom fall limp on the ground. Tears stung his eyes and threatened to fall. He looked at the man with anger in his eyes. He hated it when people hurt his mom. But killing is a different story, he will NOT let this man get away with it.

The man laughed and looked at Gray, "you got some money?"

Gray shook his head, afraid if he talked, it would turn out to be screaming and Gray didn't feel like dying right at this moment.

"I don't believe you. I will kill you like I killed your mom, if you don't give me your money." He laughed a little. Soon his smile faded away, but it didn't all the way. He still had a small smrik.

Gray got up the courage to say, very rudely, "you wouldn't kill an innocent kid, would ya?"

He sighed and poimted the gun at him and said, "be careful what you say, kid."
