"Hey you guys think he's waking up," Tommy called.
Scarlet and Ethan ran over to him and Lucy. They were looking around the room for any signs. Ethan was trying to sleep and Tommy was messing with a spider with a stick, when he saw Gray stir.
Gray had been alseep for a few hours now, that's at least what it felt like, they have no way of telling the time. He opened his eyes to the four sets of eyes on him, he glanced around confused.
He rubbed his head and murmured, "where are we?"
"We don't really know," Lucy answered.
He sat up, still rubbing his head, "why does my head hurt?"
"Oh because when Ethan was moving you into the little light we have in this dark desolate place, he sorta hit your head on the wall," Scarlet said.
They thought of reasons of why he was sleeping for so long and one of those was because he hit his head. Or more like Ethan caused him to hit his head.
Gray looked at Ethan. Ethan just put up his hands in surrender. Gray noticed none of them have the ropes on them.
"Here," Ethan shoved a note in Gray's face, trying to change the subject, "we found this laying on the ground, read it."
Gray snatched it out of Ethan's hands and read it. The note said, figure out all the problems along the way and you will make it out. If not be trapped down there forever.
Gray sighed and thought, well at least we have something to work with. And we also know that we are deep under ground. He looked at the handwriting, this looks oddly familiar.
Gray sighed, giving up one figuring out who's handwriting it was, and stood up, "well first things frist, did anyone find a door?"
"Yeah there's one over there, but its locked," Ethan pointed to the far wall. "We already tried to open it."
He walked over to where Ethan was pointing and saw a metal door. "Next question does anyone have a bobby pin?"
"Here," Lucy said as she pulled out a bobby pin from her hair. "Why?"
He didn't answer her question, "one advantage of having girls," Gray muttered as picked the lock on the door.
"Do you even know how to pick a lock?" Tommy asked, mildly confused.
"Yes, I do," Gray snapped.
"When did you learn?" Scarlet asked, also confused.
"About two years ago."
"And we are suppose to trust you that you can unlock the door?" Ethan asked.
"No, you really don't have to trust me. But I am actually just seeing if this will work."
"So you don't know that it will work?"
"No, just testing my luck. Seeing if I still remember."
"We are doomed."
Then there was a click. Gray smiled, "doomed, no. Lucky, yes."
"Lucky? How are we lucky?" Lucy asked.
"You are lucky you have me, someone who can pick locks," Gray stood up and opened the door.
"Way to go for rubbing it in," Ethan muttered.
Then walked out if the dark room and saw they were in a weird computer lab. There were computers lined up against the wall, all shut off. In the middle of the room was a safe and a computer that was on. Right beside the safe was another safe.
