Author's note: I have this story complete, but I will publish the chapters whenever I feel like it. I am in the process of writing the second story, but I need to know if I should continue to write it. Tell me if you guys like the story so far and give me some feedback. Tell me what you would like to happen in the story because I can always change it, depending on if I like your idea or I might put it in the second story if you guys like it.

Gray and Scarlet has been in the same position for a while now. Gray was laying on his back, with his arm behind his head. The other arm was wrapped around Scarlet's shoulders. Her head was laying on Gray's chest, humming a song.

Gray finally sat up in the bed after an hour. Scarlet moved so he could get up all the way.

He glanced at Scarlet, "come on, I have to show you the file now."

She nodded and got up. They walked over to his computer and he started it up. After a while, he finally got the file up and let Scarlet read it.

Mainly what it says is that some of The Black Rats plans, in the future.

"What I heard my dad talking about, while he was on the phone, was a plan tonight, but it says nothing for a plan tonight, see?" Gray scrolled up to the top.

He seems more himself, if someone other than Scarlet was there, but Scarlet can typically see what he really is feeling. She can look right threw him. That's a disadvantage and an advantage all in it self.

He leaned his head back, looking up at her, "what do you make it out to be?"

"Well," Scarlet started, "I think-"

There was a loud buzz on Gray's dresser. Scarlet's phone lite up, buzzing.

Gray smiled, "you might want to get that."

Scarlet smiled back, "alright, if you insist."

She walked over to her phone and answered it. Gray ignored her conversation, after all it probably won't do him any good. He just read the file again.

Scarlet hung up, after a while. "I gotta go home, see ya tomorrow," she said.

"Okay see ya," Gray muttered. She left and went home. He continued to look through the file rereading it, over and over again.

He heard Jason yell his name from downstairs. Gray glanced at the clock, 7:16 p.m.

"What the hell do you want, now?" Gray muttered to himself.

He walked downstairs and meet Jason in the kitchen.

"Gray, I need to talk to you," Jason growled.

"Haven't you already had enough pleasure of beating me today?" Gray snapped.

"That's not what this is about."

"Sure it isn't," Gray rolled his eyes, "what do you want?"

"What did you hear while you were in the office?"

Gray shrugged, "I dunno, I heard an idiot talking at some point. But other than that, nothing. It's pretty quiet in there when you aren't home."

Jason stood up and walked over to Gary. He had a knife in his hands. Jason pressed the knife's tip to Gray's stomach, "tell me the truth, now."

"I did say the truth. I heard an idiot talking, that's it."

Jason cut the skin, "do I have to ask you again? If you don't want to end up like the mayor, then I would advise you to tell the truth."

"What did you want from the mayor? You wanted something, tell me."

"I wanted nothing from him," he dug the knife deeper, "all I did was kill him. If you don't want to end up like him, then you better tell me what you heard in the office."
