Author's note: I am publishing this early for two major reasons. One is because it's the new year! Yay go 2014! Great year, great year. The second is for my friend doesn't kill me. Because next week we go back to school (boo!!) And so this makes it the last chapter you guys will get to read before school starts up again. And I am sorta scared for my life that's why I am going to publish this now instead of later. With that said, hahaha! You guys are seriously gonna hate me after this chapter. And for my friend out there who is scared for what this chapter title means, Zane is safe. He is at home probably eating cheese and watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. He likes cheese and that movie for anyone who cares. Alright enough with the rambling, I need to ask you guys something. Should I make a book about their conversations on Facebook, which is really funny because they cuss out each other a lot(I thought about some of thier conversations. I got no life and we are on break so that's why I have so many thoughts running through my head. Not saying there isn't when I am at school, cause there is.) And/or I make a book about their past experiences, sorta like The Bane Chronicles. Alright you decide which one or both. Enough with me you can now read this chapter...hehe have fun! Read till the end! The ends the "best" part!
"How do you figure we get out here?" Scarlet asked.
"I don't know. Why do you guys always assume I have a way out of everything?" Gray asked.
"Because you are naturally good at getting out of stuff. No matter what it is. Whether it's dodging bullets or getting out of difficult situations. It's just in your nature."
"I know, but not all the time."
"True."
Gray picked up the map that was laying on the ground in front of a tombstone. "I don't remember putting this here," he question to himself as he picked it up. "How did it get here?" He looked at the map.
The map had some pen marks on it. He studied it for a few minutes before just giving up. He threw the paper on the ground and walked away. Deciding that it wasn't all that important.
"Did you find anything?" He asked as he knelt down next to Scarlet.
She was looking at the names on the tombstones. She sighed, "no, but we are certainly in France. Just look at the names. What about you?"
"No, I found the map, but it didn't have anything useful on it."
"Oh, well there has to be a way out."
"Yeah, if you are a ghost," Gray said sarcastically.
"No need for the sarcasm, Gray."
"Okay. Sorry."
He looked up at the wall and noticed a pattern he saw before. He looked at it for a few seconds and realized it was the same one on the map. He walked over to where the map was.
He looked at the map again. He thought of something. Dropping the paper, he knelt down in front of the tombstone, the one that had the map. He studied the tombstone and sighed.
He saw some more writing on the map from the corner of his eye. Gray picked it up and read what it had on the back.
I have faith in you Gray. If you guys can figure a way out, then I will join you to defeat The Black Rats. After all, I do owe you, you did save me. Just don't tell anyone else there because if dad or anyone else finds out, you guys are dead along with me. See you soon, little brother. I know you can get out.
