Gray stood up. He was somewhere dark. There were no lights anywhere. Just pitch black. He walked around to what seemed like forever.

Finally he saw light up ahead and headed towards it. In the light was a silhouette. It was of a women. She had long hair and a thin body. And a gentle smile that he remembers so well, even though he hasn't seen it in years.

As Gray got closer he saw his mom standing there smiling. But he knew who it was from the beginning.

"Mom?" Gray asked.

He didn't believe what he was seeing. His mom has been dead for years, but yet here she is standing right in front of him.

"Hey Sweetie," her smile grew.

The reason he hates when people call him Sweetie, is because his mom use to call him that all the time. Every time someone calls him that, it reminds him of his mom. And he didn't want to be reminded that way, because it was her last words to him, 'Sweetie.'

"Mom, you are dead. You can't-"

"Its okay to be confused, Gray. Life is really confusing. You will understand soon. But for know, please-"

"But you are suppose to be dead. How is that possible?"

"Within time, Sweetie."

Right then someone appeared behind her. It was a middle aged man with his dark hair slicked back, like he always have. And his intimidating posture. Like when he would come home drunk every night and take out his anger on everyone and everything.

Jason pulled out a knife and cut her throat. In an instant she was on the floor bleeding to death. Gray tried to stop him, but his couldn't move his feet.

"Sorry, Gray," Jason said in the clear strong voice he has. "But I had to. You just don't understand right now. But I will explain everything."

"No you didn't! You could-" Gray couldn't speck anymore. He couldn't find his voice.

"Sorry, but I also have to do this."

All of a sudden, Scarlet, Lucy, and Ethan appeared from the light. And instead of a knife, Jason now has a gun.

Gray bit his lip, knowing what he was going to do. Jason pulled up the gun and shot each one of them. When he was about to shoot Scarlet.

She smiled and said, "be brave Gray. And don't give up. Remember our promise."

Gray found his voice agian. He screamed as the gun shoot rang threw his ears and Scarlet fell in the pool of blood.

Gray sat up quickly. He was no longer screaming, but he woke up everyone in the infirmary because of his scream. Sharp pain exploded in his chest. He toppled over, groaning, shutting his eyes tight, and clenching his stomach.

His hands were trembling and sweat dripped down his face. He was breathing heavily and seemed like he could not breathe. He kept seeing the image of Jason pointing a gun at Scarlet and watching her fall to the ground as the bullet past threw her head.

"Gray, oh my-" Lucy said.

Scarlet jumped up and helped Gray back to laying down. "What the hell, Gray?"

He uttered the word, "nightmare."

"What? You having a nightmare?" Ethan asked, astonished. He didn't believe Gray had nightmares.

"Everyone has one eventually, dumbass," Gray groaned.

"I see you are mean as ever," Lucy smiled. "Nothing has changed!"
