You can see my love now.
Like sunshine through a diamond heart.
Love falling from it
Like light through a prism-
Creating rainbows
And sights.
Oh how beautiful!
You can see it now.Those days seem distant.
When this heart
Seemed like a stone.
A lump of coal,
Dark and grey.
But still,
What fires it could burn!
What warmth it would bring.
How useless it felt when damp.I guess pressure
And so much feeling,
Turned coal to diamond.
To let some things pass through;
To paint some things
In new light,
In different colours.
And every heart
So unique.So sunshine will turn rainbows,
Rain will roll off,
The wind will beat
To no avail-
When diamond
Lives in your chest cavity.~A
