Do you have blinders on?
That you can only see
One point of view–
Yours.Would you take them off
And exit the skewed reality
You live in.
Enter the world,
Where the rest of us live-
In actual reality.But is that really true?
Am I just seeing my side?
Taking myself as rule
And ignoring you?I don't want
To say that you're wrong.
But I know
That I'm not.Maybe we're just
On different sides;
Our eyes adjusted
To different levels–
Of light and life.But I'm stuck
On
This side.
I am here:
Hurt,
Alone
And bare,
And you can't see that.It feels like
A one-sided mirror.
You can only see
Your side.
But I can see both
And am stuck here–
Invisible to you.~A
