December 11th
Zach's POV

My first day in the "camp"

It wasn't much of a camp considering it was an actual school.

But we had to stay in "dorms" which were little cabins.

I had a roommate.

His name was mason.

He was a year younger than me.

He's 15.

But that's really all I know about him.

The room was okay I guess.

I had a small bed and a dresser and a big stand.

So I put my clothes away and I pulled out my picture of jack...

"Hey please don't tell I have this. It's the key thing I brought from home" I whispered to him

"I won't tell if you won't tell about mine" he said and pulled out his picture with a boy as well

"Thank you. By the way I'm zach. That's me and my boyfriend jack" I said and he smiled

"That's me and my boyfriend Shawn. I had to be sent here about 3 months ago. Every night I put my picture away just in case the officers as I call them come in our room." He said

"I'm sorry you've been here so long. My mom sent me here because I'm "confused" and my boyfriend made me that way. I hate her" I said and he nodded

"Your first class is Monday and I'll show you around then" he said and I nodded

Since I was up all night I just went to sleep and mason just read a book the whole time.

Sure ain't gonna get used to this.

Jacks POV

The first day.

First away from Zach,

First of many days,

First day I woke up with a nightmare about him,

First that I didn't wake up with a text from him,

First I wasn't able to call him and us go hangout,

Also the first i didn't wake up and look through my happy go lucky closet.

A lot of firsts.

I miss him so much.

But instead of moping around all day I decided to go hangout with corbyn and Jonah and Daniel.

The picked me up and we headed to the mall.

"So what should we do first" Daniel asked

"How about Dave and buster" corbyn said

"Sure" we said and headed in

I was having fun but also wished Zach was here to play with us.

He loved the arcade.

"I'll beat you in basketball" corbyn said

"Hmm sure you will" I said and we started

Me and Corbyn are both very competitive people so it's a great match.

"HAHA BOOM" I said considering I beat him 51-43

"I hate you" he said and we laughed

Afterwards we went to a couple stores and then chipotle then to Claire's

Why you ask

Well Daniel wanted his ears pierced

"Your doing great sweetie" I said in a "mom" type voice

"Oh shut it avery" he said

"Aww look at my baby" Jonah said in a cooing tone

It was a great time until I got back home and had to be left with my thoughts

You aren't good enough. Maybe you are. Don't listen to him you're worthless. No you aren't. Zach lied he left you because he hates you. He loves you with his whole heart. No. He doesn't love you. Yes he does. You aren't worth it. You are.

"SHUT UP" I yelled

"Hey hey what's wrong" my mom said rushing into my room

"I- mom- I cant" I cried

"You can't what baby" she asked setting on my bed and trying to comfort me

"Live" I said and fell into her arms

"Hey, it'll be okay just well just lay here in mommas arms baby" she said and I laid my head on her lap as she rubbed circles on my back

"I'm sorry momma. I never meant to let it get this bad" I whispered

"It's okay baby. It's not your fault. Your going through some stuff right now and it'll be okay." She said and kissed my forehead

"Okay..." I said before dozing off and whispering

Zach's POV

As I was trying to sleep I woke up around 2:00 am

I heard slight noises and i turned over to See mason crying.

I got up and hurried to his bed, I slightly shook him and he woke up.

"Mason hey bud what's wrong" I asked

"I had a dream..." he said

He was so vulnerable it was sad.

"Do you want me to stay here" I asked

"C- can you h-hold me" he asked

I nodded quickly and laid down and held him.

He's only a kid and having to come here is a nightmare.

I hate it for him.

And he kind of reminds me of jack in a way.

So I couldn't help but help him.

But I ended up falling asleep and so did he.
