crystaldagonheart I have no logical excuse to why I'm taking so long to write. All I've been doing is sleep, eat, game, and go to school. Honestly, I have no idea if I made his personality correctly. I haven't played Skyrim in a long time and I've been playing the Dragon Age games a lot lately. So please bear with me.

Y/n Pov,

An arrow barely grazing my shoulder as I run away from the mob.

"Vampire!" A commoner shouted while chasing me.

I run deep into the woods and I quickly swerve between trees and then I climbed up a tree to get away from the mob. I lean back against the tree hidden in the leave and I take a few deep breaths. I examine my shoulder and with luck, it wasn't bleeding all that badly. The people run past me so I take the chance to change into a disguise to blend in. After about twenty minutes of the mob trying to find the vampire aimlessly, they start to lose hope of finally killing the vampire they are to head back into town.

"We need to prevent these vampire attacks so how about we hang some garlic up. I heard vampires hate garlic," A random person mentioned.

"That sounds like a good idea. Let's get to work on that when we get back to town," another person said.

I, on the other hand, didn't like that idea. Not because I'm a vampire but because people are so stupid to believe anything that you tell them. "That won't work guys. Vampires don't hate garlic because it hurts them or how it smells. They hate it because of the flavor it adds to foods."

No one believed me when I told them the truth about garlic and vampires. I just shrugged and walked away. I began to mumble to myself and I wasn't paying attention so I tripped over a root and fell on top of someone.

"Crap... Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." I tell the person trying to get myself up and help them up.

"No, it's ok. Hey, do you by any chance know where the vampire is that had entered Morthal?"

"Um, are they in trouble?"

"No of course not, I have a few questions that I wanted to ask them."

"Ok well, I'm the vampire that you are looking for then."

"Really? I would never have guessed that you would have been the vampire."

"Well, I get that a lot. My race the Dark Elves already have red or yellow eyes so people never really suspect us."

"Oh right... I'm Legate Fesendil."

"Nice to meet you Legate Fesendil. I am Y/n and I actually haven't been meaning to cause any chaos from those cities. So where are we going?"

The elf only motioned for me to follow him. I began to follow his footsteps and we exit the forest. He then ushers me along the road to Solitude. The sun slowly began to rise in the sky about halfway on the road. I could feel my blood begin to boil from the rising sun so I start darting towards some sort of shade. Fesendil had a confused look on his face as he watched me dart in front of him and then he got the reason.

"I completely forgot that vampires get harmed by the sun. I'm so sorry." Fesendil mentioned while chasing me down to make sure I was ok.

"No worries, I should have been better equipped for the sun when I knew that you were taking me somewhere."

I finally reach shade and I plop down on the ground near the tree that I was sitting under. I motion for Fesendil to hand me the stick beside his foot. I take a few branches that were laying beside me and make them into an umbrella. I take the leather out of my bag and wrap the branches full of leaves onto the larger stick with the leather. Fesendil was amazed by my quick thinking and we both began to walk back on the road to Solitude.

"As I said before Y/n, I'm sorry that happened."

A few months later,

I lay on the grass taking in the nice moonlight. I laid there listening to nature and every so often I'd take a sip of the blood ale from my ale bottle. The noise was calming and could almost lure me to sleep by its lullaby. I then hear sticks cracking so I jolt up and see my good friend Fesendil standing at the edge of the trees.

"Hello, Fesendil... Long time no see? If I'm correct the last I saw you was when you took me to Solitude to ask me a few questions. Please don't say that you guys have more questions to ask me because I will simply say that I'm not the vampire you are looking for."

The elf just blushed a little bit from my words. "Right... No, we don't have to take you in for questioning."

"Ah, then why did you come into my neck of the woods that for some reason was moved the forests fo Solitude?"

"Oh for careful examination to keep the vampire attack rates on the down low... Crap I didn't mean it like that."

I stopped joking around when I heard his comment. I get up and walk away from the area. Storming off I leave the befuddled elf alone in the grass. The deeper I got into the woods the darker it got but luckily I have good night vision to help navigate around the wood. Behind me, I hear Fesendil calling my name but I continue getting deeper into the woods until I hear him fall.

"Ugh fine, let me help you up and lead you back to the Solitude gate walls." I usher over to the elf and help him up.

We walk in silence right beside each other. "You know what? Why would it be so bad if we wanted to contain the attacks?"

I turn to him. "We are people too, I don't see you following assassins or the thieves when they do something wrong. I don't see anyone following the werewolves or even the Dragonborn Ahzira. Why the vampires?"

"Oh... Right, and you do know that no one is keeping you here near Solitude right?"

"Right... and yet I find it so hard to leave such a beautiful place."

I continue walking but I was pulled back by Fesendil.

"Legate, you need something?" I could barely get the words out before he pulled me in to capture my lips.

He pulled away with a look of shock. "I'm so sorry Y/n..."

"Don't be, I actually enjoyed it." I winked at the High Elf before continuing my way towards Solitude.
