I heard you found someone to keep your bed warm
And your heart cold,
Because you can't love someone
When all you do is lie to them
I heard you never spoke of what you did to me
To save face
And create a new identity
So you could move on like nothing happened
I heard you drink to forget me
And do all the things I've grown to love
Maybe hoping to see me one day
To mess with my head (don't worry I won't let you)
I heard you're not the person I knew anymore,
And I wonder if I ever even knew you in the first place
Or if it was all an act
And you managed to convince even yourself
I heard you're a colossal mess
And you can't pick up your scattered pieces
So you use those you deceive
Just to fill in the gaps that they don't quite fit (but it's good enough for you)
I heard you miss me
But no one had to tell me that,
I just know
