You're like a dandelion
The way you seem so whimsical and beautiful
Harmless
Until time drives away your facade
And I remember you're a weed
Despite how you may seem,
Despite how you present yourself,
Despite how much I love you.
You will always be a weed,
It's all you've ever known
Can
And will be
So I blow you away
And wish you well
You must grow on your own because I cannot afford to lose my garden to weeds anymore
