That can't stay away from each other
When one of us gets too close,
But it's not poetic
Nor is it cute
And that sickening click you hear
Represents the pain brought on with every minuscule interactionWe can't help but be drawn
Towards one another
Playing this game of who lasts the longest
Skirting around the edges of all our rules we laid out so carefully
Before
Until
ClickAll progress is lost and it's even harder to break apart,
This connection we have is toxic
Because we lack control over our own actions.
Our reasoning gets knocked out of our heads
And all we know is what feels right and wrong at the same time,
