I packed up my feelings
Like one would for a flight
And in this rare case I lost my baggage
Along the journey
After quite some time,
It was a slow process
Getting rid of what was no longer wanted,
I hadn't realized the progress made until
I looked at you and it no longer
Ripped my heart out
Begging to be held by you
Just one more time,
Instead I stood my ground
And looked upon you as someone of the past
Who took another path
And got onto another plane
That was of no importance to meI hope you lose your baggage too
And find the courage to no longer search for it
In hopes of reviving what has been lost
And is better left that wayHello readers!
