This poem is about rape
Sorry to everyone who has to scroll, I wanna keep all mah babies safe ✨💕Hands scraping against skin.
Ragged, emotionless, and senseless,
Searching for an escape,
Meanwhile they lay defenselessSilence is attractive to people like you,
The word no is a challenge
And your victims body is a conquest
You know they can't properly defendYou like to play with people
Like they're some sort of game
That isn't over
Until they take the blameYou burn bodies with your touch
Without even realizing it,
For months and even years
They recover bit by bitYou're repulsive and monstrous
But they're stronger than you,
They've made it this far
And to all the victims out there-I believe in youI tried to keep this as "light" as possible since I know it's a sensitive and difficult topic to approach. You all have my support as well as many many others, stay strong lovelies you're not alone and you're a strong individual. It doesn't matter your race, gender, sexuality, or anything-anyone can be a victim so I kept the pronouns open.
