Liya's POV

"Oh? Aigoo~ wasn't that your boyfriend just a minute ago? Who was that woman again? If I recall correctly, she is your boyfriend's fiance," brother continues to taunt me. "Didn't you had an agreement with her before? Gee, I wonder what had happened."

My choice can either be right or wrong; I don't care anymore. I no longer mind what the outcome will be. Inyeong crossed the line she wasn't supposed to.

"Do you see what happens when you trust someone you are not supposed to? They break the rules; they break the agreement."

I have been hesitant long enough. Last night's incident is the last straw.

No more miss nice girl. I will be doing everything I can do to avoid it.

"Don't you recall why you accepted him? It was to move on. Are you willing to let go now?"

Fine..! Call my reason low, selfish or whatever. But I will not waver. This is a firm decision of mine.

"This is a surprise," she said. "It seems to me that your visiting hours, here in my place, are fixed during early hours. Do you need something again?" Her poker face gives off a serious aura. For some reason I feel that she knows exactly why I am here.

Then I shall be direct to my point, "Why did you do that last night? Why did you kiss Yesung?"

Inyeong sighs, "I knew you would ask soon but I find this very soon; are you spying me?"

"If I hadn't noticed you by the park last night then I wouldn't have known your dirty little tricks..!"

"It was by accident. Did you, perhaps, wanted to witness your own boyfriend hit the sharp edges of the fence? That would be very sadist of you, then."

"Don't turn the tables; you are not answering my question!" my intense emotion brought my hands to slam the table. "Why did you kiss him?"

"Just like I said," her cool and calm posture is making me want to rampage. "It was to prevent him from harming himself because he wasn't looking at where he was heading and about to get himself hurt. Even I don't know how everything ended up in such a scenario."

"So why did you not break from it?" another fierce question from me. "You went on for who knows how long..!"

I see her trying to hold back from saying something.

It couldn't be..!

"You... Do you have feelings for my boyfriend?"

Inyeong scoffs. Her smirk shows how confident she is, "No. Even the slightest bit, no. Why would I have feelings for a weirdo like him? You can call it a mistake for having affections for him, years ago, because it was plain admiration."

"Then how come you did not break from the kiss as soon as you can?!"

"You know... If you continue raising your voice, just like what you are doing, most likely the neighbors will hear you. They could get the wrong message if you go on."

A sudden idea pops on my mind, "Ahh~ Right. It would be troublesome for you if they figure out you're a boyfriend thief, isn't it?" Let's see how you handle that.

"Seriously," she hints disappointment. "And yet I thought you are a calm and rational person. I suppose assuming gets me nowhere. To answer your question, it's another no. Instead it may end the other way."

I arch an eyebrow, "What?"

"For starters, people around us have been my neighbors for a couple of years now. They know me better and they're not the type to be convinced instantly. However, in your case, you're someone they rarely meet. Once they find out your identity as his girlfriend, don't you think they will leave you with bad remarks? It can also cause problems for him. That is, of course, if you choose to continue yelling your heart out."
