Chapter 14.1: Behind Me

Reading through my old diary, I reminisce the past I had with someone special. These written experiences I can never bring back to reality will forever remain as bittersweet memories. There were the times when Yesung was out of my grasp. 

February 18, 2012 

This is the happiest moment in my whole life!! Hehe, wanna know why? 

I wasn't the me everyone knows today. My personality was different. Cheerful, hyper, and childish were once the descriptions people would suggest whenever being asked about me. I went as far as pretending a notebook can talk; the reason why I seem like communicating with my diary. 

Keunseo is officially my first boyfriend!! Haha, he just confessed the other week and earlier he romantically asked me to be his girlfriend. My friends say it would not surprise them if ever he will ask for my hand in marriage soon. Hehe, Keunseo takes things fast. 

Do Keunseo was first boyfriend. He broke my record for being "no boyfriend since birth" for twenty-seven years. But the reason why I chose to remain single was also because of him. He is a my childhood love. I waited for the right timing to say the three magical words to him but he said them first before I even had the courage to speak out. A part of me couldn't refrain from screaming out my overflowing happiness yet at the same time I was embarrassed. 

But.. Ah~ Everything went by so quick. Isn't there a replay button? I want to experience it again!

Today I gathered my bravery to ask Keunseo one question I really want to clarify: what did he like about me? By the end I totally regretted asking him. My face flushed and my eyes cannot look directly to his direction. Waah! Is my childish side really so adorable? How about being loud; is it attractive? What's so nice about that?! I'm not a dork too..! Mwaah! Keunseo is really the type of guy who can move my heart so much.

Eeeheeeheeeheee! Keunseo is too cool to be expressed into words. 

You see, dear dairy of mine, he is a musical actor. Not too long ago he received the good news: he is finally going to star in his company's newest and sure hit play! This afternoon was his first performance. Setting aside the fake kissing scene, it was a work of art! Waah! He received a loud applause during the encore. As expected of him! Awesome as always. 

A similarity I see in both Keunseo and Yesung is that they're both into musical activities. In addition, they are active in such events too. It just so happened that Yesung is part-taking in famous acts and Keunseo very rarely does. They're still different.. In a way.

For dinner, Keunseo and I had a small celebration for the success the play had earned. In a small and quiet restaurant down town, we ate to our hearts' contents. My stomach stuck out because of the amount of food I took in.

To let time pass, we shared our unfulfilled dreams to each other. As childhood close best friends, now in a higher level, we were already aware of each other's failures. Saying them comfortably again just lifted more of the pain away. 

A relationship requires trust and the couple must be open to the other's thoughts. It seemed very different with my current boyfriend and I. Every since we began dating, I haven't been totally honest with him. Like back after the fashion show. It was someone else who made me rush home. Also I cannot remember when I actually opened up to him about my humiliating memories.
