Narrator’s POV
He can’t stay still and changes position a moment after another. The guy can’t stop it; sadness is evident in his squinty eyes. But for which reason? Is it because his fiancé confessed to his bandmate or is it because he won’t be able to stare at her sleeping face tonight? Who knows; Yesung isn’t positive which of the two… Could be both, though.
“I’ve confessed…” The words resound in his mind. He shouldn’t have raised his assumptions, even for just an inch; if only the singer did not have any unnecessary thoughts during the ride. He wishes to return back time and refuse to hear the explanation behind the bracelet. It is true; regret will haunt you at the end.
Would it be possible for him to see her tonight? Yesung does want to witness her adorable look when fast asleep. It’s something he found himself doing in the middle of the past nights. A developing habit, in other words.
Another topic enters his mind and is in need of concern. The idol is sincere of his affections for the lady. He wishes to pursue her. The question now is how is he doing to do it? At the current situation, the disadvantaged side is his. Today’s findings weren’t of help in a positive way. Yesung couldn’t see through Inyeong’s actions because he feels he is getting both of the signs and that fact that his fiancé hasn’t done a successful charity work since he came back to her life is another thing he is upset about. Most of all, she was convincing when she admitted. They all leave him in a thinking state.
“RIING! RIING!” his phone under his pillow is ringing. A sign that he is receiving a phone call. Even so, the overthinking guy is in no mood to answer to anyone. But answers the call eventually, “Hello?”
“Aigoo, you sound beat up Mr. Kim. Didn’t you had fun with your energizer earlier?” the caller on the other line inquired.
But because of the tone of the call that suggests how she is not so serious, he replies in the same manner of tone, “Who is this?”
There is a long pause on the other line…
“Hello?” Yesung’s patience is draining fast.
“Yah. Don’t ever ask Donghae for my contact information again..! Ah, ley me rephrase that. NEVER ask from anyone my contact information.”
Donghae? Someone who is linked to him and knows Yesung’s number? A female. There are a few but he is going for his best guess, “Yumi-ssi?” She’s the only woman he had encountered who has the guts to be informal to him. Despite their age gap.
“Sheesh you’re slow. I worry for your children.”
He sets the remark aside and asks for the reasons why she called at this hour of the day.
Yumi inquires on the status of the couple’s relationship. “Going smooth or the complicated one?” is what she asked.
Super Junior’s main vocalist does not answer the inquiry directly but does it indirectly by throwing a question right back at her, “Do you know about her hidden feelings for Donghae?” To him it will sound suspicious if Inyeong’s best friend is unaware about it. As far as he is concerned, they treat each other as sisters. There is a big chance they share secrets such as that of he asks.
“Is this déjà vu? I think I’ve heard of the same thing from a distant past,” the answer was unsure but he considers it enough evidence to clear his doubt.
A follow-up question comes after, “So are you going to surrender her to him? She loves with all her heart.”
“Absurd!” His exclamation is enough to get him sit straight on his bed and surprise his caller. “Although I have a tight rival, I am not discouraged from courting her. It’s just… I have no idea what I should do next after she had confessed to him.”
