Inyeong's POV

Everyone continues to eat their own meals.

Jongwoon and I are sitting right in front of one another. The atmosphere is very awkward between us. After recognizing each other we didn't talk, made an eye-to-eye contact, or any action that would connect us. Just plain silence.

My father coughs. "So~ Are you two friends or anything?"

"That's right! You were both informal with one another," Mr. Kim added.

"Uh," my eyes panics. "Not really. Just acquaintances."

"Acquaintances yet you were very informal with one another," Mrs. Kim said. "Both of you called each other by names. Your tone also sounded informal."

"Close acquaintances," Jongwoon faked a smile. "But not friends."

Our parents giggled at his logic. "You're close acquaintances but not friends."

I join them in giggling.

His face quickly turns red all over. Embarrassed, perhaps? He couldn't say a word.

Changing the topic, Jongwoon's mother asks me regarding my occupation. With respect, I start explaining, "I work under a big fashion company ma'am." Nope, I'm not boasting. I add the fact of being a substitute photographer when none is around during shoots.

Jongwoon scoffs at my words. This guys doesn't seem to believe my words.

"Have you taken a picture of an artist already?"

I nod, "I did took a couple of pictures of Big Bang's G-Dragon, Girls Generation's Seohyun and Sooyoung, and Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Donghae."

The Kim couple ahhs.

This time, it's my mother's turn. She asks me if ever I've taken photos of a whole idol group.

"Uhm," I thought hard. "I think no. But most of the time, especially when they're promoting something with our company, I work with Sandara of 2NE1, Suzy of Miss A and SISTAR's Bora."

The talk continues. Both Jongwoon's parents are curious to know me. I can't blame them. It was year 2002 when they met, or so I've heard. At that time, I moved in with my kind aunt here in Seoul, they never got a chance to meet me and talk to me in person. But I think mother and father have talked about me to them before since they know a few details about me.

I was in my 10th grade when I was scouted to be a model. Everyday, I would have two priorities: school and modeling. I was a working student until I graduated college.

And Jongwoon? He clearly has no interest in listening to the conversation. While we're talking about my background, I would often catch him doing something else. A clear sign of disrespect.

I think I know why.. I sigh.

Yesung's POV

Out of nowhere, my phone rings, indicating an incoming call. I excuse myself for a while and take the call somewhere away from the tables.

"Jagiya~" the woman, from the other line, whined like a kid.

"Oh, Liya," I said smilingly.

"Are you free tonight?"

Inyeong's POV

Jongwoon comes back. "I have to go now."

His parents are both taken aback because of his words. "You're going already?" his mother asked. "But the-"
