Narrator’s POV
Midnight is drawing close. A 27-year-old male suffers under the spell of stress because of the recent event. These particular events are beginning to worry and confuse the adult.
“So? How is it with hyung lately?” There it goes again. Lee Donghae has lost count on how many times his mind replayed the scenario, back at Hwang Inyeong’s apartment. After he nagged her, to stop trying to kick him out of her apartment, the model realized that her efforts are futile. The young man was trying to bring up a serious discussion, despite knowing that Inyeong’s attention was divided between him and the TV. It was then when a masculine voice called from behind the entrance. And the next thing he knew? The brunette has already planted a long kiss on his left cheek. Her reason was, “I was practicing for an upcoming musical.”
For who-knows-how-many-times already Donghae messed up his hair in frustration. He is frustrated in the thought that he feels like he has done a terrible sin with his hyung’s fiancé.
It is because of the nonstop replaying images and ideas that he couldn’t sleep. Not to mention it is past his set curfew. “AHH! My conscience is killing me!” he cried out loud.
“GET SOME SLEEP!” his bandmate, Lee Hyukjae (Eunhyuk), scolds him. He, too, have not gotten the chance to sleep because of the noise Donghae makes when he moves around. Particularly because they’re on my bed. Yes, the dancing duo is currently sharing one bed. Donghae didn’t wish to sleep alone in his room with the reason “I don’ feel like it”. Of course he forced his way in his bandmate’s room. In the end, Hyukjae (Eunhyuk) is also suffering.
In the same building, 5 floors below, in a certain room, another person’s sleep is being disrupted. Although hesitant, her fingers crawl under her pillow to pull out her phone. It has been vibrating, nonstop; the sole reason why her quiet rest ended in a cliffhanger. “Hello?” Inyeong’s drowsiness was evident in her groggy voice.
“Ah, sorry... I seem to have disturbed you from your sleep,” said the caller, apologetically. Inyeong has not-so polite thoughts upon hearing the man’s words. She wanted to her him drop the call instead of hearing what more he has to say. “I just want to ask if Yesung is staying at your place tonight. Is he around?”
“Weird,” she thought. The model starts to feel concerned for her fiancé; but tries her best to conceal it. “No. He’s out of my boarders.”
She hears the caller utter worried words from the other line. Inyeong’s worry also grows as the seconds pass by.
“Do you mind if I ask a favor from you?” the man sounds desperate. “I can’t tell his family about this because it might cause unnecessary panic for them. I don’t trust his girlfriend as much as I trust you. Can you search for him in the city?”
“Jongwoon is a grown-up adult. He does not need someone to look for him at this hour,” her statement send cold “arrows” to Super Junior’s leader. He caught a signal of slight unwillingness from his bandmate’s soon-to-be wife.
Jungsoo (Leeteuk) knows his bandmate well enough to point out that Yesung never had behaved, the same way, in the past. This is the first time he misbehaved in such a manner. Why is he “panicking”? Simply because of the reason that their man vocalist hates it when he lacks sleep. Everyone is afraid to see anyone of the AB members, Heechul and him, grumpy so early in the morning. The rest of the day will be filled with terror.
His mind can be unpredictable. It’s difficult to solve the puzzle of his way of thinking. Jungsoo (Leeteuk) was hoping Inyeong to, at least, have an idea on where he could have possibly gone off to.
