Chapter 5.1: Confessions

Yesung's POV

"Inyeong is a nice person and she doesn't act rude and disrespectful to anyone without any reason, valid or not." I put myself in a deep thought. What action did I do to her to act bad to me? Maybe because of my bad attitude towards her? Or does she have some kind of grudge against me? 

But what really is bothering me are her ex-fiancees. Sure 90% of them became her friends (and might stay until there) but the last one, he keeps on appearing on my mind. What sort of person would do such a cruel thing to a lover? Doesn't he know women are emotionally sensitive or he's playing dumb? Though I think it is possible that Inyeong did something hurtful to him too. 

I never knew she went through things like that. It must have been horrible experiences. For a bit, I pity her. 

Wait. Now that I think about it, I wonder how many men became hers and how long they lasted. What were the causes of their break up? Who's to blame? And.. Hey!! Why am I thinking about those stuff?! 

"Yesung-ah," Leeteuk hyung knocks at the door. 

I got up from bed and walk to the door for me to open it. "Yes hyung?"

He sighed, "Why didn't you tell us? When are you exactly planning to tell everyone?"

"Hyung what are you talking about?" I become puzzled. 

"When are you going to tell us that your engage to Inyeong now?"

My eyes widen in astonishment, "Hyung. H-How did you know?" Did someone told him or could it be that we got caught at the coffee shop?!

Our leader led me to the living room where the members are gathered in a circle. Out of 10, Siwon is the only one absent. Leeteuk hyung made me sit in the center of everyone. What is this?? A hot seat?

"Hyung!" our dancing machine called out. "Why are you keeping it a secret from us? Don't you trust us?"

I was afraid this day would come. I know that they'd throw questions at me one the other. Before another speaks, I voice out, "Will you allow me to explain?"

"Everything," I heard Leeteuk hyung mutter. 

I had no choice but to spill the beans beginning with our relationship from high school until to this day. The reason of our break up, the truth that I was her many first, some of he details her father informed me.

The members have mix emotions after hearing my story. 

But aside from their reactions I'm receiving, hyung remains serious, "You have not yet answered me. When were you planning to even tell us, that is if you plan to."

I sigh, "None of us want to be in this mess. The wedding date is on her birthday-"

"October 7," Donghae inserted. "A few more months from now."

"Exactly. Yesterday, her father talked to me about the details regarding the wedding and the stuff I just told you. But her also gave me a chance. One September 7, if ever she would fall for me or vice-versa while the other doesn't then the wedding is off."

"And you're planning to place you're bet that either it's going to be a one-sided love or nothing at all, am I correct?" there goes hyung speaking with a serious voice that scares me. 

"Y-Yes."

He looks at the floor for a while.

Silence fills the room.

The nervous feeling remains in me. The longer ther situation continues, the more anxious I get. 

"Say," Leeteuk hyung finally made a sound. "With that plan of yours, do you honestly have an intention to tell us?"
