Hiccup

"Well, by my calculations, Hiccup, for the Dragon Blade to ignite in those kind of wind conditions, it would require-"

"An additional half jar of Monstrous Nightmare gel." I finished off. Man, the deigns for the Dragon blade is coming along really great now. "Precisely!" Fishlegs added on.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Fishlegs?" I ask him "Build a new handle to hold twice as much gel." We both say at the same time. "Of course. Now, what gauge cylinder will we use? My brain says 10, but my heart says 13."

I quickly turn to see Y/N land with Crystal, she petted her and flew off again. "Guess that will be a language I'll never understand." I over hear her say.

"Yeah. You know, we too have a language that you will never understand." Ruffnut spoke.

"This is news, how?" Y/N asked completely dumbfounded. "No, seriously. We created our own secret twin language." Tuffnut said excited.
"Yeah, just in case we ever got captured and needed to communicate in code." I hear Y/N groan.

"Okay, I know I'm gonna regret asking this, but what exactly is this secret language of yours?" She asked them.

"It's complex, so try and follow along with that pretty little head of yours. Ello-hay, Uffnut-Ray."

"Ello-hay, Uffnut-Tay." Ruffnut said to Tuffnut. What was with the snorting?
"We call it Boar Latin!" Tuffnut exclaimed. "Yeah. Genius, right? Oh, wait, uh Enius-gay, Ight-ray?"

"Can you believe it only took us 11 years to come up with that? I mean, 15 with the research and development." He explained. "What's with all the snorting?" Y/N said confused.

"Uh, hello? It's called Boar Latin. Uh, boar." He explained. "Yeah, heard of it? Can't have the Latin without the boar. Then it'd just be Latin. Duh. Everyone speaks Latin these days." Ruffnut added.

"Ummy-Day."

"Erk-jay."

"Hey, just for the record, I understand everything you guys are saying!" I hear Y/N shout, it's kinda funny when she gets upset. Then, I explain to Fishlegs what we could do next with the blade.

"That's ingenious, Hiccup." Fishlegs exclaimed. "I wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't suggested Changewing acid."

"Ugh, I come back from patrol for this? "Oh, you're so smart, Hiccup. Oh, no, actually you're the smartest, Fishlegs. Oh, you're so pretty. Oh, actually you're so pretty. We're both pretty. Let's hug."" Snoutlout was flat out complaining, I mean come on. We're doing some pretty cool stuff.

"Ah! Ook-Lay." Tuffnut shouted. "Uh, what was that?" Snoutlout said confused. No one answered, until Y/N finally said, "Boar Latin. I'll explain later." As a terrible terror flew in.

"Terror Mail. We'll continue this discussion later, Fishlegs. Huh?" As I saw what I just read. "What is it?" Y/N asked me. "Urgent message from the Defenders of the Wing. Mala needs help."

Time skip to Defenders Of The Wing Island...

"All right, gang. Fan out and keep your eyes peeled. We have no idea what we're flying into." Y/N stayed with me, while the others dove in after us. There, we saw the villages cheering.

"They're here! Welcome! Look, there they are! Welcome, Riders! I see them now!" They yelled from below, we saw Mala, Isabel and Storm, and Throk all waiting patiently.

"Hiccup Haddock, thank goodness, you received our message." Isabel spoke worriedly. "Isabel. What happened? Is it Hunters?" I answered. She shook her head as Mala spoke. "No. Something much worse."

They guide us to a pillar where an egg was laid there. "This would appear to be an egg-mergency. Or some might call it emergency egg-may." Tuffnut's comment caused Isabel's Skrill to growl at him.

"Has something happened to Tuffnut?" Isabel said confused. "Nope. This is pretty much a daily thing." Astrid sarcastically answered.

"Is that-" Fishlegs was cut off by Y/N.
"An Eruptodon egg." She spoke. "Unlike other dragons, Eruptodons only produce a single egg in their lifetime. Our tribe has been waiting generations for our Great Protector to have an heir. And now, it has finally happened." Mala explained.

"So, this should be a time for celebration, shouldn't it?" Fishlegs inquired. "If it were that simple." Isabel said to him. "An Eruptodon egg can only hatch under very special conditions." Throk added on.

"The dragon is born of flame and its egg requires the life-giving lava of its ancestral nesting site, a cavern deep inside the Grand Volcano." Mala said to the riders and I.

"But, why is out here?" Y/N asked. He left to follow him up the path to the Grand Volcano with Mala and Isabel running along as well to catch up with us. We notice right in front of us as the Great Protecter tries to move a bit. Throk runs to its side.

"Easy girl. It's all right." He spoke softly to soothe her down. "The birth weakened our already aged Great Protector, so much so that she cannot fly to the sacred site." Mala explained.

"We were able to spare the egg, but without proper nesting, it will not hatch."

"Our only option is to transport the egg ourselves before the lava rises and floods the cavern." As fire suddenly spews out in front of Mala and Tuffnut.

"The future of our entire civilization rests on this egg's survival. If it fails to hatch, the Great Protector will not have an heir. And if there is no Eruptodon to eat the lava from the volcano, the island and our tribe is doomed."

"Mala, we will deliver that egg into the volcano." I said to reassure her.  "When you say "we will," you actually mean "you will," right? Okay, great. Check you later." Snoutlout spoke as he walked away.

"By the looks of the lava, we have a small window, but it should be enough time to get in and get out." Fishlegs assumed that we would still have time to get the egg there.

"Exactly. You thinking what I'm thinking, Fishlegs?" I asked him. "Here it comes. Another Hicclegs lovefest." He gagged.

Both of us said, "I'll fly the egg down."

"Uh, Hiccup, I think you mean I should fly the egg down, because Gronckles are accustomed to lava." He told me.
"Well, that's true, yeah, but a Night Fury has the distinct speed advantage, don't you think?" I argued back.

Then, Mala stepped in. "Gentlemen. Time is waning. Hiccup and the Night Fury will fly the egg to the cavern."
"Right. Yes. Okay."

"What just happened?" Astrid said confused. "I have no idea, but Hicclegs just got very interesting." Snoutlout commented.

"Our armor is coated with a layer of heat-resistant Eruptodon saliva." I groaned in disgust. "It should help protect against the effects of the volcano." Throk reasoned.

"And, speaking of heat, Gronckle Iron tail fin. Uh, Fishlegs, look-" But Fishlegs didn't care to look.

"The sacred cavern is located on the south side of the volcano's interior. May the spirits of our fallen warriors guide your wings, Hiccup Haddock." Throk spoke.

"Okay, uh, I guess all I need now is the egg." I answered. " The egg is my responsibility. I'm going with you." Mala spoke up, carrying with egg with her.

"My Queen, let me go instead." Throk reasoned. "No, Throk. A Queen must always be willing to risk her life for her people." She said calmly, as she mounted on Toothless. We dove straight in the Volcano and we nearly there. "Come on. Keep going, bud." He grunted in response as we were getting closer.

"Down there." She pointed to a small opening in the Volcano. "I see it. Toothless, wing right. Whoa!" Lava bubbled near Toothless's tail fin as we flew to the right.

"What is happening, Hiccup?" She asked worriedly. "If that tail gives out, the three of us and the egg are done for."
