Chapter 12

Y/N

Hiccup was such a flirt as I was. I mean, hiding above the clouds, and then kissing my forehead. I was blushing like a monsterous nightmare's skin. "Looks like I won." He smugly says. "Pfft, how?" As I grit my teeth. "Flirting game that you started." I roll my eyes.

I shift my attention to something to something peculiar on the edge. "What's up Y/N?" I shake out of my trance. "Something really weird. Can I show you without being caught?" He nods as he follows me to his hut. We land outside his hut and Crystal lowly growls.

"There's someone in your hut." I quietly whisper. I pull out my dual blades and run inside and trap the intruder by his throat. "Ahh! Hiccup!! Get your crazy girlfriend off me!!" I hiss as he gets louder. "Y/N, relax he's my brother..." he grumbles. "How do I know if he won't hurt you?" He looks at me with sincerity in his eyes. "Trust me." I slowly pull away my blades and reattach them to my belt and stand beside Hiccup.

"Ok, so uh apparently my quest to find my sister by boat is not working. So I'd thought, why not get a dragon! But I need your help." He sheepishly says, I roll my eyes in annoyance. "I don't Dagur, Heather is uh gone." Hiccup lies. "Well, let's find a dragon for me faster!" As he runs out to our dragons.

Hiccup sidesteps and his "brother" comes to a halt. "You cant do that." I say coldly. "Well, if I can't do that then I can say hi to the riders. I'm sure they missed me." As he shoves Hiccup aside. "Ok, ok, fine. We will help you find a dragon." Dagur claps happily and then he hugs me in excitement. "Ahem," He notices him squeezing me and lets go.

"Sorry! Sorry! Just really excited here!" I shove anything he might've got on me. "Right," as I look at Hiccup in slight disappointment and anger. "Ok, Dagur you will camp out on the edge. And Y/N I will help you get used to the riders." I nod as we walk out and I hop on Crystal's back.

She growls a bit when he jumps on Toothless back. Toothless also growls of feeling the extra weight. "Lets go." He says and we fly towards the deeper part of the edge. Finally we see a little cave and I point there as they follow my lead.

Hiccup

We follow Y/N's direction to a cave. That's perfect! We land below as Y/N glares at Dagur as he hops off of Toothless. Y/N roughly sighs as Crystal walks to us. "Why on earth are you helping him?" She hisses. "I don't know Y/N. But can you can trust me. Please." Her facial expression changes from pure hatred from Dagur to insecurity and worry. "I just don't want anything bad happening to you Hiccup." As she tells me the truth.

I hop off toothless and Y/N does the same and calmly stands there as I pull her to a hug. She was quiet, to quiet. Then she hugs me back in a tighter embrace. Then... Dagur ruined it by putting his arms around our shoulders. Y/N pulled away from under us and stumbled a bit. "Hmmmm, you guys dating?" Both my face and Y/N's turn red and turn away. "How would you know?" Y/N snaps back.

"Ehh, I don't. Just a guess." She groans and hops back on Crystal, I do the same with toothless. "Stay here Dagur, we can't have the riders know your here." He clicks his tongue and points a finger. "You got it." Y/N rolls her eyes and takes to the air. "Don't, make her angry." He nods and walks to the cave.

Y/N

After cooling off from the encounter with Hiccup's brother, he caught up with me. "So, do you still want to meet the others?" He asks me. "I guess..." I mumble under my breath. "We don't to go right away, we can still hang out. You and me." I'm really conflicted right now, I don't know what to do now. Ugh!!!

"I guess..." As I turn away and look at the edge. Then I notice that Hiccup was holding my hand with his and placed it on his chest. Crystal and Toothless were both huddled next to each other. "Ok, lets go see your friends, Hiccup." His eyes beam with happiness as we head to a large building on the far left corner of the edge.
