Chapter 42

Hiccup

We were now getting dragged into cages while I watched Y/N make her escape. She knew that she needed help from the others, I just hope she did before she was captured as well.

I saw Viggo and Ryker talking up there, I could just hear out what they are taking about. "The Gold?" He asked him. "Secure, and no sign of the other Dragon Riders or the girl." He replied. "Perhaps, we should just go, the girl and her Light Fury can easily be caught while we are leaving port, as for the others they aren't worth your time." He finished.

"Don't stop, keep looking for them. They will come eventually, especially the girl and her Light Fury. It would be so nice to have her work for me again. Oh, and bring Hiccup to my chambers. I'd like to have a word with him." He looked down at me and gave me a smirk, I simply glare at him.

After that, the ship was leaving. Meaning we were leaving port. "Please, sit." Viggo relied. "I'd rather stand." I feel a tight pressure on my shoulder from Ryker.

"Forgive my brother, he doesn't understand the concept of savoring victory. You and your dragon riders could have spent months searching that island and you'd never find my gold." He explained to me.

"Well, you never know, we might surprise you when you least expect it." I replied with a hint of confidence laced in my voice.

"Ah, you're referring to your impending rescue, don't count on it. Hmhmhm..." He looked at m with a dark glimmer in his eyes, he was up to something that was for sure.

Y/N

After I hid in the clouds for a while, I saw Heather, Fishlegs, and ugh Dagur hovering above the ships of Viggo's fleet. I quickly flew to them. "Y/N! Thank Thor your okay!" Heather exclaimed, I smiled as I flew next to her. "Yeah, I'm ok. But, Hiccup and the others were captured." I explain.

"There they are, you two attack the flanking ships. Meatlug and I will take out the lead vessel. Got it?" We nodded as we flew down toward the ships. Windshear fired spines at the ships, but Heather kept getting attacked, I was still hanging on.

"Crystal! Plasma blast!" She held her breath and released a powerful purple flame on ship, and she grabbed two hunters with her claws and tossed them into the sea.

"Ahh! Ah! Ah! Ahh!" Heather screamed. Then, Dagur came flying down. He rammed into the ships, but it wasn't causing any damage.

Hiccup

"Look there's you friends now, coming to save you. Such loyalty, I can hardly keep my own brother focused and on task." His brother just remained silent.

"What are you getting at Viggo?" I say coldly, he simply smiled. "Do you really think that after all we've been through I'd expose myself, without some... added protection. You are about to have a front row seat, at the death of your riders, and their dragons. Along with Y/N working for me and whatever Dragons she tames."

Y/N

"Fire! Fire!!" He yelled, but nothing was working so far. I already knew our attacks weren't working.

"What!? Dragon Proof Ships!" Fishlegs yelled in confusion. "Okay, that didn't work, anyone have any other thoughts that you know, I mentioned earlier." As Dagur's voice started trailing off.

"Fishlegs, I-I think maybe we should try it my brothers way." Heather admitted. "Your brother?" He said in confusion. "Fishlegs, what do we have to lose." I spoke as well.

"Yeah!! Berserker style!" He screamed in excitement. The plan was beginning to unfold, Windshear was holding Shattermaster in her tail while Dagur was riding with Heather.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" She asked him.

"Were doing it together, as brother and sister, how could it fail?! Flying Shatter Scatter!" Windshear then let go Shattermaster who threw himself toward and through the ship. "WOO HAHA HA HA!! See Heather! We're a match made in Valhalla! WOOHOO HOO HOO HOO HOO!" He exclaimed.

"Hehe, coming in for another pass!" Heather shouted happily, I smiled as well, but I noticed Fishlegs looking gloomy. "Lets finish this sis. Are you with me?" As he put his hand out and Heather looked over and smiled.

"AHH OHH AHH YEEYE YAA!!!" She yelled out, guess that's her battle cry. "That's music to my ears sister!"

"Now Windshear! And Y/N have Crystal fire multiple Plasma blasts!" She yelled, I nodded as I dove in after Shattermaster as Crystal released five plasma blasts on the ship before we glided up gracefully.

"That one's for Oswald! And nice show you put on Y/N." I blushed a bit from his compliment. I just hoped the others could escape now. Yeah! Haha we did it!" Heather yelled. "Now that is Berserker style! WOO HA HA HAA! Oh I love you sis!" As he hugged her, she laughed as they were bonding.

I looked down to the others escaping out of the boat as it was sinking but I didn't see- "Toothless!" I yell. He was still on a boat surrounded by hunters as I saw Hiccup on board another ship.

They both jumped off the opposing ships and fell in the water. I see a bright purple light in the water, was he going to jump out like that? He could killed! But he came out of nowhere as he burst through the ships deck.

We went back to the island because eh finally knew where it was. So how did you figure out where the gold is?" I asked him.

"A few things tipped me off. First, the tracks leading to the store house didn't make sense. Then the hunters with shovels and pickaxes, like they were building something, but ultimately Viggo gave it away himself, when he pointed to a map of the island over his desk. There weren't any Viking ruins on Viggo's map. Hit it bud!"

Toothless fired multiple plasma blasts at the ruins and it was buried somewhere deep inside. "Genius!" Fishlegs said amazed. "It was hiding in plain sight all along." Astrid commented. "Thanks bud." He growled happily as a response.

Later when everyone was loading the gold up, I put a few on a bag Crystal was holding. She hated saddles and preferred freedom without a machine on her body. I looked over Fishlegs and Heather talking.

I smiled when she thanked Fishlegs and gave him a kiss on the cheek. After that Dagur came up and reassured him that they'll both be ok. Later, Heather mounted on Windshear as Hiccup, Astrid, and I walked up to her.

"Be safe out there." I told her. " And let us know if you find Oswald." He added on. "I will, and thanks Hiccup, for everything." As she took off in the air and flew in the horizon while rallying their battle cry.

I looked over at Fishlegs who gave a forced smile, but I knew he was sad.
"Hey, she'll be back." I told him, as I put my hand on his shoulder. Heather and Dagur, good luck on finding your father.
