Hiccup

I'm so glad Dagur has actually been quiet about this. Earlier, he kept going on and on about Crystal. To which Y/N replied, "I'm not going to." He asked me to tell him the answer but I smugly look at him and look back to our location.

"Here we are." I say, as we land in the trees. "Ooh!!! I already know what it's name going to be! Shattermaster!!" As a green gronkle came into our sight. "Uhh, who's this?" Y/N asks confused. "Dagur's new companion." He looks at me in disbelief. "This Gronkle?" He says unconvinced. "Yep, take it or leave it." The dragon comes closer to Dagur and he lifts his head to meet Dagur's hand. He immediately accepts Dagur as his new best friend.

"So, what's next?" He blurts out. "Train him, that's what you do Hiccup, right?" I nod. "Yes, even though he trusts you. You both need to work together and respect each other and other dragons." We see the Gronkle trying to get close to Crystal. She growls almost immediately and hisses afterwards, he jumps back. "Like that. Shattermaster got to close to her and invaded her space."

Y/N went over to soothe and Crystal down by crouching next to her and stroking under her throat. A soft purr erupted from her throat as she began curling around her rider. "She likes that?" Dagur asks her, and for once she's actually not mad. "Yes, I've known her for a long time. Learn what your dragon likes and dislikes. That way you two can bond even more."

Her response was very smart, I haven't really found all of toothless likes or dislikes. She's really smart... I hear my voice being called, I ignore it and focus all my attention on Y/N's voice. I hear her voice because she was literally right in my face, snapping her diners in front of me to break me out of my trance. "Hiccup, he's been trying to get your attention." As she steps aside.

"Oh, right." As I clear my throat. "Ok, since you have a dragon now. You need to learn how to ride a dragon. Furies and gronkles are completely different species. They are more agile and fast, while gronkles are slow and steady. That's what you need."

We all take to the air as we are beside Dagur and his gronkle, they are doing pretty good to be honest. Even though Dagur was a bit hesitant. But they got the hang of it. He accidentally pulled on Shattermaster's right wing and they were falling. Y/N groaned and went after him before I did and caught them with her dragons feet and pulled them back up. "Thanks C!"

Her dragon on a expressive that told us it was confused. Y/N bent down and soothed her, telling Crystal that he was thankful. She coos at Dagur. "Ok let's try something a bit down to earth." I say, they nod and we slowly dive to the trees. Where we dodge the trees, Y/N and myself were going great, while Dagur was still hesitant on letting Shattermaster lead.

"Dagur, you're trying to steer him to much. You need to trust your dragon, Dagur." She explained, Y/N continued. "He doesn't want to hit the trees anymore than you do." He nods. "If you say so!" As Y/N catches up with me. We hear Dagur coming as he zooms pass us, he hits a tree and bounces back where he accidentally hits me. "Hiccup! Dagur!" We hear Y/N says as she lands quickly. "You guys ok?"

Shattermaster gently lifts off of us and lets us move, while we regain our ground. "Bad Dagur bad! I'm sorry, Hiccup. I pant and try to catch my breath before responding. Y/N speaks for me. "You're trying to do too much too soon." He looks up at her with a sincere apology. "It's fine." She says.

I pull my leg and it was bent. I groan in annoyance. "Great. I can't fly toothless like this." He snatches it my hand. "Great! I can straighten it out." As he attempts to bend it back, but he ends up breaking it in half. "Oops." He gives my leg, I decline his offer. "It's okay. I have a spare back at my hut."

"I'll take your dragon and be back as soon as I can." He nods. "What about me? Should I stay and watch him?" As she narrows her eyes at him in suspicion. "Oh come on! We were buddies just a while ago!" He complains. "Yeah, sure. Hurry back Hiccup." I nod as I take off with Shattermaster.
