November 7, 1986, Katey age 6
Six year old Katey Potter was sure that she had never been more comfortable. She sighed contentedly as she nestled deeper into her covers and rolled over on her side before she went back to sleep. The door opened softly, as a voice began to speak. "Lisa, Katey, it is time to get up."
"Morning." Katey mumbled sleepily as she sat up with a yawn, reaching for her silver wire framed glasses on her nightstand.
"Good morning."
"Uncle Sev?"
"Yes, Katey?"
"Am I gonna go to school today?"
"Yes, you are."
"Cool!" The girl said as she got out of bed, and headed to her wardrobe. Opening the door she looked inside. "What should I wear to school?"
"Your new uniform, white dress shirt, grey skirt, black tie, and the grey vest with the logo on it." Severus answered her.
"OK, thanks Uncle Sev." Katey said as she grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom.
"You're welcome, Katey. Lisa, time to wake up."
"Mmmm" She said sleepily. Severus went over and sat down on his daughter's bed.
"Lisa, come on sweetheart open your eyes for daddy." Severus told her gently.
"Nooooo."
"Come on baby girl, open your eyes for daddy."
"Nooooo."
"Lisa, wake up, you have school today."
"Don't wanna get uuuup."
"Lisa."
"Nooooo."
"Annalise." Severus said in a warning tone.
"Noooo. Leave meeeee aloneeee."
"Annalise, you have five minutes to get up before you get the Snape special. I have to go wake up your brother, get up now. Katey!"
"Yes?" Katey called from the bathroom.
"Don't forget to brush your teeth!"
"Yes, Uncle Sev." Katey replied. Severus left the room to go wake up his son, returning ten minutes later only to find his daughter still asleep. Removing her blankets, Severus silently conjured a bucket of ice cold water. He silently counted to three. Before speaking.
"Annalise Lily Snape! I told you to get up ten minutes ago." Severus said flipping the bucket of water over the girl.
"Daddy!" Lisa protested.
"I warned you, young lady. Now, get up and get dressed for school."
"Bloody damn tie!" The girl growled from the bathroom.
"Katherine Potter! Come here." Severus said with sternness lacing his tones, he looked at his daughter. "Annalise, up, now!"
"Yes sir." Lisa said as she grabbed her things and headed to the bathroom to get dressed for school.
