November 6, 1986: Katey age 6...
Days had turned into weeks, weeks had turned into months, since six year old Katherine (Katey) Elizabeth Rose Potter, had ran away from the Dursleys' house. The scared, young girl had thick reddish-black hair with leaves sticking here and there in her tangled mass. The girl's eyes where large with fright and had little flecks hazel that was sprinkled brilliantly about the emerald orbs; giving her eyes the appearance of emeralds speckled with gold. Katey had left in mid-June, just after school had let out. It was now the middle of November, some six months later, and Katey was cold, dirty, tired, scared, and hungry. The scared six year old had been in a dark alley somewhere in Muggle London when a tall man wearing a mask and weird looking clothes and a strange stick. Her accidental magic had kicked in and had brought her here when she had gotten terrified out of her wits in that dark alleyway in London. The girl looked at the map that she was certain that her mother had drawn, and had recognized some of the shops in the town she was now in, and had followed it to the big castle. The little girl had just about made it to the door when she was plowed down by a boy with midnight black hair, who was running towards the castle doors.
"Perseus Albus Snape! Stop running and watch where you are going!" The small six year old little girl heard a silky voice say warningly as a tall man who was wearing all black, with silky midnight black hair, and dark obsidian eyes appeared leading a young girl who was wearing what appeared to be a school uniform which consisted of a knee length grey pleated skirt, woolen grey jumper with some sort of logo white button down dress shirt, woolen grey knee socks, black leather Mary Jane shoes, a warm velvet black winter cloak, and plain black tie along a path. The girl was rather young and had glossy shoulder length honey brown hair that she wore completely down held back by a black head band and had sterling grey eyes. The child was rather subdued and quiet and she glanced every so often at her father's face. The father regarded his daughter with a mixture of sternness, disappointment, and one of deep love before wrapping an arm about her shoulder as he led the way towards where she laid on the ground, still shivering with cold. Katey forced herself look away, and wondered if her own father would have ever shown her such affection even after she had displeased him. The six year old shied away from the severe, stern looking man as he came closer and closer to where she was lying on the ground. "Child," The man's voice was soft and gentle. "Are you alright?"
"I-I-I-I think so." The girl shivered with the chill of the air.
"You need to see Madam Pomphrey right away, child. "Annalise?" The stern looking man turned to glance at the girl.
"Yes, Daddy?"
"I want you to head on to your room and get started on your homework."
"But-"
"Lisa, do as I have asked. You are already in trouble without adding disobedience to your list, don't you think?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Alright then. Off with you." Severus told his daughter. The moment the girl had left the area, Severus scooped the six year old in his arms and carried her to the Hospital Wing. "Poppy!" He called as he entered the room.
"Severus, what is it?" She said as she came out of her office. "Oh my sweet Merlin, is that?"
"Yes, Poppy, this is Katey Potter."
"Well, set her on a bed."
"I don't understand, how do you know my name?"
"Katey, you are famous here." Poppy said. "Hmm, yes. Ah, I have just the potions. Now, you wait here, dear, and I'll be right back." Pomphrey said gently, sailing towards the cabinet to get the required potions.
