September, 1991, Katey age 11
"Katey, you want to come to the Library?" Hermione asked her friend, as Katey used her wand to dry her hair, after she had brushed it out after her shower. After waking up at 6:45, Katey had quickly dressed in a pair of her old jeans and her TiDi T-shirt and her black trainers and headed to her parents quarters at seven for some breakfast before her detention started at 7:30. The girl had spent an hour harvesting and preparing some Severus's nastiest and most disgusting ingredients, another hour scrubbing a few cauldrons, and spent until noon scrubbing the floor of the classroom on her hands and knees with a toothbrush. Finished, she and Severus had enjoyed a private father-daughter lunch in his office and the two had talked for about an hour, before dismissing her to the shower in her dormitory, knowing that Lily would never let her in their quarters when she was that dirty and that sweaty."It's Saturday, Hermione." The eleven year replied, as she slipped on her light blue vans some two hours later.
"I know. But, you can never get started on your assignments too early."
"I already started." The eleven year old shrugged.
"Where's Susan and Lisa?"
"I think she went to Mum and and Dad's quarters for tea."
"What's Sue doing in a Professor's quarters?"
"Probably spending some time with her adorable little cousins." Katey said.
"And Lisa?"
"I don't know. I think she's in a bit of trouble 'cause she yelled at Dad after class yesterday." Katey shrugged as the two headed downstairs. "Say, why don't you come with me and have tea with Mum, Dad, Sue, and I?"
"I don't know."
"You'll get to meet my adorable little sisters." Katey said. "Plus, you haven't met my mum yet."
"Are you sure I won't be breaking any rules?" Hermione asked as they exited the common room.
"Yes. It'll be fun."
"Alright."
"Brilliant!" Katey said as the two girls hurried to the dungeons.
"Oh Merlin!"
"Hermione, what is it?"
"Do you not remember what Snape called me yesterday?"
"Hermione, trust me. Dad got a very pointed and very colorful earful from Lisa. Then I gave him the more respectful version when Lisa stormed off."
"You did?"
"Yes."
"Oh, Katey! What am I thinking?"
"Hermione, stop. Dad's different at home." Katey said as the two descended down the dungeon staircase.
"So, what are your siblings like?"
"Lydia and Alexa are little rascals. Kassie is a little darling, she turns two in a couple of weeks." Katey smiled. "Hopefully you'll get to meet all of them." Katey told her friend.
"What do you mean hopefully?" Hermione asked curiously.
"Remember how I said that Alexa and Lydia are little rascals?"
"Yeah." Hermione said, not really sure where this conversation was going.
"Well, there is a slight possibility that one of them ended up getting grounded.
"Oh." Hermione said as her friend motioned for her to stay back, while she hissed the password to enter Snape's quarters.
Katey motioned for her friend to join her. "And, this Hermione was my home over the school year." Katey gestured to the sitting room. Four year old Alexa was currently running around the parlor, screeching with delight. While Severus was currently esconed in his favorite armchair reading a Potions Journal. "Hi, Dad."
