A New Beginninng

November 1986, Katey, age 6
Lily Jane Potter nee Evans and Severus Tobias Snape were married in a private Wizarding ceremony at seven o'clock that evening. As the ceremony was private, only a select few had been allowed to attend. Molly Weasley stood with Lily as First Witch, while Lucius Malfoy stood with Severus as First Wizard; while Christy and Katey joined Lily as flower girls, and Harry and Percy stood with Severus, as ring bearers; and Albus Dumbledore officiating the ceremony. The witnesses consisted of Narcissa and Draco Malfoy, Minvera McGonagall, Remus Lupin, as well as Arthur, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny Weasley.

For the ceremony, Lily wore a simple, yet elegant white lacey floor-length dress, under emerald green dress robes. She wore her auburn hair in curls, held back with two lily-shaped combs with tiny emeralds studded gracefully in the petals. On her feet, she wore silver mini-heels. She wore emerald tear drop earrings and a necklace with a single large emerald tear drop.

At the end of the ceremony; Katey, Lisa, Harry, and Percy all stood off to the side. Lisa and Katey were in deep conversation about the fight that Katey had initiated earlier that day. "Katey, I can't believe that you got in a fight." Lisa said.

"I can't either."

"Hold up just a tick." Harry said. "Lisa, did I just hear you say that my twin sister got into a fight?"

"Yes."

"Katherine Potter!" Harry scolded. "How-"

"Not you too." Katey groaned, effectively cutting her twin off. "He was a bully Harry, and you know how I hate those."

"Oh." Harry said.

"I've honestly never punched anyone before today."

"Could have fooled me." Percy snorted

"Perseus!" Lisa rolled her eyes at her ridiculous brother.

"What?" Percy rolled his eyes. "Any one who can punch Parkingston is a hero in my book."

"You, shut up." Lisa ordered her twin. "So, Katey, did you get in trouble at home too?"

"From your father?"

"He's your father too now. But, yes, from Daddy."

"Not yet. They are probably waiting until a little later tonight to do that." The child winced. "Especially if the glare that Uncle Sev gave me earlier means anything." The girl suppressed a shudder.

"Ouch." Lisa winced. "That's worst part, waiting is."

"Tell me about it. Now that your dad and my mum are married, I bet he is going to have something to say about this."

"Probably." Percy shrugged.

"Hi." Draco told the four children as he joined them.

"Hey, mate. What was Uncle Luc's and Aunt Cissy's response to the fight you got in?" Percy asked.

"Draco, you got in a fight too?" Lisa asked concerned.

"Yeah, that Parkingston made you cry. I couldn't let him get away with it."

"Merlin."

"That's what he gets for insulting my god sister." Draco replied with a shrug. "And you even have to ask? Same as Uncle Sev's I'll bet."

"You mean he-" Percy started to ask. Draco nodded in response.

"Draco is it? I don't believe that we've met. My name is Katey Potter, and this is my twin brother Harry." Katey said, not really caring to her about what her new father had done to punish her new brother.
