Henry took a step away from Regina. They didn't see Emma walked through the woods. Only Regina saw her. Emma walked into everyone's line of sight. "Regina you should be in bed."
Regina kept her sight on David. "You know fair well I had nothing to do with my sons death." She snapped and took a menacing step towards him.
"You drowned him." David snapped.
"He was one enough to bathe himself. I walked away from the room for less than a minute." Regina sneered.
Henry looked at his mother. "Do you know about this?"
Emma shook her head.
"Quit covering it up. We know you killed him." David snapped and walked towards her.
Regina shook her head. "I walked in and he was under the water. I did everything I could but he wouldn't breath. I called 911. They refused to help me! I lost my son because no one wanted to help me. So maybe I killed my son. If I hadn't decided to ruin my life maybe he would still be alive." She snapped. "Maybe I could have died before him. But I can tell you one thing. I did everything in my power to keep my son alive for as long as I possibly could."
"So you admit you did kill Daniel." David said.
Emma intervened. "From what I've just heard this was not Regina's fault. Whether you think so or not. It seems to be the fault of this town. Now I don't care what anyone has done. Not helping people in need is the worst thing anyone could do." Emma snapped. "And you're making that mistake. Now either you help find your wife or you leave."
David glared at his daughter. "I'm not done with her." He diss makes spurned at Regina. He walked away.
Regina let out a breath. She didn't even realize she was holding her breath.
Emma looked at Regina. "Henry can you bring her back to the house?" She said and walked away from them.
Henry looked at Regina. "It's not your fault."
Regina shook her head. "Let's find your grandmother."
"But I-"
"I don't care. Come on." Regina said and grabbed Henry's wrist and pulled him alongside her.
Regina entered a section of the woods that was slightly open. She saw a dark fabric behind a log and let go of Henry's wrist. She walked over and covered her mouth. Mary Margaret has a large gash on her forehead and she was passed out. Beside that injury she seemed unharmed. Regina knelt beside her. "Henry go Find your mother." Regina said. He did as he was asked.
She pulled at her sleeve and ripped it off. She held it to Mary Margaret's forehead. The women opened her eyes and froze.
"Who did this to you?" Regina asked.
Mary Margaret said nothing. She went to move. Regina helped her sit up.
"Who hurt you Mary Margaret?" Regina asked.
Mary Margaret stayed quiet.
"Mum!" Emma cried and ran over to them.
Regina stood up. Too fast it seems because her vision darkened. Henry wrapped his arm around her waist and pressed his cheek against her arm. "Thank you." He said softly.
Regina went rigid at the contact but nodded.
"Come let's get you home. You're on fire." Henry said. This time he grabbed her wrist. She followed him.
He walked her to the house and up to the room. He sat on the bed beside her. "You had a son? What was his name again?"
Regina looked at her palms. She had drew blood. Tiny crescent shapes from her nails embedded into her palms. "Daniel." She whispered. "He was named after his father."
"I'm sure he was nice."Henry said.
Regina smiled. "He was amazing. The sweetest boy I'd ever met."
Henry leaned on her shoulder. "From what I can see he took after your sweet side."
Regina froze at his sign of affection. "I'm not sweet." She said.
Henry ignored that comment. "You scare me sometimes but I don't get why people think of you as a villain. I like you Regina."
Regina looked at the boy who leaned against her. He reminded her of Daniel. She smiled slightly. "Thank you Henry. I like you too." She whispered.
