Regina looked down at her lap. Tears slid down her cheek and closed her eyes. She hadn't meant to give in to mr gold. He got into her head and she hurt Emma in return. Now Emma couldn't trust her. She had earned her title of villain back.
Regina sat on the floor of her own living room. The floor around her was sticky with her own blood. A man came to her home and since everyone knows where she is it's not like she would have been able to do much to stop it.
Regina was sexually assaulted tonight. This was not something that happened last time. He didn't get that far but Regina couldn't fight back this time. Regina laid back on the ground and winced. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She wished she could have been killed by that man.
Regina heard a knock on her door. She winced and stood up. Her head spun as she walked to the door. She pulled it open and frowned. "Henry?"
His eyes scanned her body. "What happened?"
"What are you doing here?" Regina asked. She leaned on the doorframe.
"Mom needs your help. I know you are-" he looked down. "Uh anyways. This is something she can't handle in her own. We don't know who this girl is but she's trying to hurt her-" he looked at her. "She says it's because you're too weak to do it."
Regina Shut the door. "Come on." She said.
"Are you well enough to-" he looked at her. "You look pretty bad Regina."
"Thank you." Regina said and walked to Emma's house with a limp growing increasingly worse as she did so.
Emma was in the yard pinned against a tree.
     "Unhand her!" Regina snapped.
The women dropped Emma to the ground and took off her hood. "Ah Regina. Care to finish the job?"
Regina covered her mouth with her hand, still sticky with her own blood. "You died. I watched you being buried."
"Looked can be deceiving." Cora said to her daughter.
Regina looked at Emma who held a hand to her throat and took shaky breaths. "Are you Okay?" She asked Emma.
Emma looked at Regina. "Says the girl covered in blood."
Regina gave her a look. "That's not my fault." She snapped.
"Who the hell is this Regina?" Emma asked standing to her feet.
Cora looked at Emma. "The women who helped Regina become strong. Then you tried to ruin it."
Regina looked at her mother. "Is that what strength is to you? Having everyone around you fear you? Being hated so much that they believe sexual assault is the best way to make me pay for what I've done? That's not strength." Regina said softly. "That just makes me weak."
"They will follow you if they fear you." Cora said.
"I don't want to be followed! A leader is followed! By trust. Not fear." Regina said. "People should follow someone because they want to, not because they are scared into believing they should."
Henry looked at Regina. "I trust you." He said softly and took her hand into his.
Cora watched Emma make her way to Regina's side. "I trust you too." Emma said to Regina and take Regina's other hand into hers.
Cora shook her head. "Trust will falter. Fear is never ending."
Regina looked at the young by beside her and then to the beautiful blonde on her other side. "Trust, once earned, is more powerful then fear is." She said and looked at her mother. "Now I've done a lot of things. I've hurt a lot of people. I have many who are fearing me, but I've noticed that the ones that trust me, follow me. They listen to me, and I'm happy. I am more happy when they want to follow me then when I am feared into making them follow me. I wish you could have learned that from a young age."
"That's a ridiculous thing to say Regina. You know that fear is power. Happiness is an illusion. It's not real. One day you'll learn that. I'll make sure if that." She said and walked up to Regina. She gripped her chin tightly with one hand. "And you'll see. I'm right. I always have been and I always will be. You'll see."
