I KNEW SOMETHING WAS OFF!!!
IM LATE FOR WORK!!

You scramble around your room trying to get ready quickly, luckily you pick your outfits the day before. You got dressed, threw your hair up and put on some light makeup.

You grab your keys and run out door, careful not to let your cat out, that's the last thing you need.

You only live about 10 minutes from work and its mostly highway so there usually werent any delays on your daily commute.

At the office

You pull up to the building in your reserved spot.
"Spot reserved for f/n l/n. Aqua Living"

You hurry into the building and make a v line straight into your office. You quickly close the door and lean against it, finally able to breathe and get out of your fast paced mode. You hoped your boss didnt notice you were late, until you heard a knock on the door.

"Miss l/n, I know you're in there, open up!"

Great, your boss. Her name is Stephenie Wilkin. She was the worst to all of her employees, always yelling and stressed. She'd put on a fake smile when we had meetings and occasional customer tours but was her usual self after they would leave.

"Doors open Ms. Wilkin, come in!" You said in a sweet voice as you sat down at your desk.

She bursts in like fire, her face stern and eyes full of anger.

"Mr. Park did none of the paperwork I needed this morning. He's your assistant so he's your responsibility. Have the papers to me in an hour or he will be terminated!"

She exists the room quickly and in a huff. Great, just what I needed you think as you sit back and rub your head. You look at the stack of papers that were only done halfway through. There had to be over 70 pages there. You call your assistant in over the intercom on the phone.

"Yes Ms. L/n?" He said with a sweet yet nervous smile.

You weren't the type to yell or lose control of your emotions

You weren't the type to yell or lose control of your emotions. Many people told you that you looked mean, but it's only because your resting bitch face is no joke.

"Relax Jimin, have a seat. And I told you, call me y/n." You say smiling sweetly.

He takes a seat and sighs with relief.

You lean forward in your seat, resting your elbows on your desk and gently clasping your hands together. "I'm not going to yell or ask why you didn't complete the paperwork for Ms. Wilkin, I just need it finished within the next hour. I know it's not ideal but we all have a job to do. Just make sure from here on out your work is done before you leave, if not take it home. Believe me, it will make both of our lives easier." You scoot the stack a little closer to Jimin and lean back in your chair.

"Okay, I understand. So, why were you late today?" He said with a smirk as he shifted in his seat with excitement.

You rolled your eyes and sighed. "I didn't go on the date, I chickened out." You said shyly.
