Several days later..
Ariyae: ."(yawning) Who cares about history?"
Ariyae and Cale are currently strolling through bustling streets.
Cale: "I-I do. (in head) It's my only connection left between myself and who I was."
They stop at an intersection.
Ariyae: "Guess your quirks help you stand out."
Ariyae looks towards Cale with a smile as the light gives them the okay to cross.
Cale: "Wh-What's that supposed to mean?!"
They begin crossing.
Ariyae: "Uh... I have no idea."
Cale: "(awkwardly) Of course you don't."
However...
??? 1: "There's the Embodiment of Fear, Cale."
Three men are watching from a rooftop with binoculars.
Man 2: "With a Harmony girl."
They all toss away their binoculars.
Man 3: "The power of Fear only belongs to us."
The three men head downstairs.
One hour later...
Ariyae: "So what're we going to do now? Finals are all done."
The two are standing inside a large, empty park with rose bushes surrounding the area.
Cale: "I... I might go visit some old friends."
Ariyae: "Yeah, but what about me?"
???: "No witnesses."
Ariyae is sent flying to the floor as a bullet wound is seen in her right shoulder blade and through her right wing.
Cale: "Ariyae!"
Ariyae: "(in pain) What the fuck?!"
The three men, a Human, an Elf, and a Dwarf are pointing sidearms at Cale.
Male 1: "Give up Fear."
Cale: "Wh-What're you talking about?!"
Man 2: "Don't play dumb, you're the Embodiment of Fear Cale of the Flora."
Ariyae is trying to stand.
Man 1: "Stay on the ground where you belong."
Another bullet gets the back of Ariyae's left knee.
Ariyae: "(in pain) What're they saying Cale?!"
Cale: "(in head) Did they actually find me? What about the others?"
Man 3: "We request, no demand that you give your god powers to us."
Ariyae: "(in pain) God?"
Man 2: "Just stay down."
He points his gun at Ariyae's skull.
Cale: "Ariyae!"
The trigger is pulled as Ariyae falls to the earth, lifeless.
Man 1: "Now we're expecting some fight from you."
Black vines sprout from Cale's forearms.
Cale: "(darkly) No one hurts my friends."
Man 3: "So you really don't look down on mortals."
Cale: "(darkly) I never have and I never will."
Cale is readying for a battle.
However...
Dae: "(struggling) Please... Ariyae!"
Ariyae finds herself at Dae's platform.
Ariyae: "(drowsy) WH-What the hell?!"
Man: "Your going to make this girl your envoy?"
Ariyae is startled back into reality at the sight of Dae and the strange man.
Ariyae: "A-Am I just dreaming?!"
The white orb floats in front of Ariyae.
Dae: "Tell the other Embodiments that they need to fight as one again!"
Ariyae: "Again?"
Man: "Why not?"
The man locks gazes with Ariyae as she begins to fade.
Man: "I accept the challenge, but I've already located some of them."
Ariyae has faded away.
Meanwhile...
Man 2: "See?"
Cale is struggling to land attacks.
Cale: "You see every move I make!"
Man 3: "And we've examined historical data to know your flaws."
The combatants are so wrapped up in the fight that they don't notice Ariyae reaching for a white orb of light.
Ariyae: "(weakly) I may not have a clue what the hell is going on, but..."
They notice as Ariyae grabs the orb, having white energy flow into her body.
Ariyae: "... I'll deliver his message!"
Cale: "Ariyae!"
The wounds begin to fade as she gets back on her feet.
Man 1: "Wh-What's going on?!"
Cale: "Her awakening as a successor!"
White, fingerless gloves form on Ariyae's hands as she looks towards her enemies.
Ariyae: "No, an envoy of Dae."
The men's vison goes hazy.
Ariyae: "I'm going to give them the warnings that Dae wanted to give."
The men can't keep their heads straight as Ariyae's wings have a metal edges on their rims.
Cale: "What kind of message?"
Ariyae: "I'll explain when these guys get a taste of their own medicine!"
Ariyae flies extremely close to the ground before having her wings make deep cuts in the Human and Dwarf's shins before doing a front flip that slams them into the ground.
Cale: "I'll finish this!"
Cale's vines skewer the Elf in seven different areas.
Ariyae: "Nice! Get the police over here and I'll-"
Ariyae feels weak.
Ariyae: "(drowsy) My body feels..."
Ariyae passes out as Cale gets the police on the phone...
