Two weeks later...
The heroes are currently driving through a light snowstorm early in the afternoon.
Nyria: "(shivering) I-It's a l-little t-too cold f-for my l-liking."
Rox: "Looks like I'm the lucky one here."
Rox is the only one who isn't freezing her ass off.
Lariat: "(shivering) W-We'd better pick up a portable heater when we get there."
Owen: "(freezing) A-Agreed!"
They can see a snow covered city just up ahead.
Makoh: "(freezing) H-How much longer?"
Rox: "Almost there. Ten minutes at the most."
Veld: "(shivering) G-Good."
However...
A female Dwarf bearing the Second Page cloak is watching the heroes as they drive into town.
Dwarf: "Then there was me."
She however doesn't possess any D-263F.
Dwarf: "No drugs, no tricks, only strategy."
A Flora hurries behind her.
Dwarf: "Any news on Ambition?"
Flora: "N-No, mistress Yoriziatal."
Yoriziatal: "Then once they find him, the last resort shall be initiated."
Fifteen minutes later...
Everyone is currently strolling through a department store in search of a portable heater.
Owen: "(relieved) Anything is better than outside."
Cale: "(relieved) No kidding."
Rox picks up a small heater that doesn't cost too much."
Rox: "Makoh's paying, right?"
Makoh: "Y-Yeah."
Makoh pulls out his phone to find that there are still hundreds of millions in his account.
Xaena: "(awkwardly) Here I thought I got a decent paycheck."
Nyria: "He was the CEO for a large corporation."
Veld: "(awkwardly) Wow..."
Rox catches Makoh's car.
Rox: "I'll go pay while you guys get an outlet open in the trailer."
Awkward moment of silence...
Ariyae: "(dramatically) NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"
Lariat: "(sighing) We're on it."
The others head for the trailer as Rox heads for the registers on the first floor.
Rox: "Then after we get this bad boy plugged in, we'll go ahead and start looking for Thoris."
Rox hops in line just behind an Aqua.
???: "Thank you, come again."
Rox heads up to find a young, somewhat wide Dwarf wearing a black, buttoned down shirt with a white shirt underneath that allows you to just see the sleeves, light blue pants, brown, heavy duty shoes, a white lanyard with an ID saying, "Thoris," on it, long, black hair tied into a ponytail, a nicely trimmed beard, blue eyes, and a brown, analog wristwatch on his left wrist.
Thoris: "What'll it be for-"
Both of them almost fall backwards.
Rox: "Th-Thoris?!"
Thoris: "R-Rox?!"
Rox: "We sure as hell weren't expecting to find you here!"
Thoris: "Wait, we?"
The people behind Rox are starting to get impatient.
Rox: "Just uh... just knock on the large trailer door when you wrap up your shift. We'll explain everything!"
Thoris quickly scans as Rox pays.
Thoris: "But still, what the hell are you doing here?!"
Rox quickly grabs her item.
Rox: "Just finish working!"
Rox quickly heads out.
Thoris: "Just uh..."
Thoris gets back to work filled with curiosity...
