One week later...

The heroes are currently boarding a small ship, leaving the trailer behind at the dock. Ariyae's arm is still in it's sling.

Ariyae: "So we're heading for a dinky island only about an hour or two from the shore?"

Makoh: "O-Once we're there we can get to the Altar."

Cale: "(mumbling) But how did Lazarus get through in the first place? Only Embodiments should be able to pass through the barrier..."

The ship begins to sail.

Veld: "Whatever happens, we'll get through this."

Xaena: "Y-Yeah..."

They begin to pick up speed.

Two hours later...

They heroes hop off the ship just before it sets sail back to shore, leaving them on a jungle dominated island with barely a dock as Thoris proceeds to vomit into the ocean.

Thoris: "(vomiting) I forgot how much I hate the ocean."

Owen: "Glad to know this place hasn't changed much in 3000 years."

They look at what lies ahead.

Lariat: "Don't let your guard down. The Second Page may still have a couple guards around here."

Ariyae's arm twitches.

Rox: "(cracking knuckles) I'll watch our backs."

Nyria: "I'll help."

They begin their cautious trek through the jungle.

A couple hours later...

They have gotten to the heart of the jungle with no encounters with the Second Page whatsoever.

Xaena "It's been a-a little too quiet..."

Veld: "I was at least expecting something here."

An ancient stone platform rests ahead with an oddly black skeleton on top.

Owen: "A black skeleton?"

Cale is oddly drawn towards it.

Makoh: "Cale?"

Cale reaches for the skeleton, creating a spark of black lightning between the skeleton and her finger.

Cale: "Th-This is-"

Lariat: "Soalious."

Ariyae: "(confused) Who?"

The others stand atop the platform.

Nyria:: "The reason we gave up our mortality."

Xaena: "Also how they got in."

Rox: "We'll tell you the story later."

Ariyae begins to climb the steps.

Veld: "They found his body and used his remaining scraps of Fear to get the barrier to break."

She now stands with the others as equals on the platform.

Ariyae: "(deep breath) No problem."

All 10 of their colors surround them, taking them away in their brilliance...
