Owen stands before the heroes to their own shock.
Cale: "Wh-What happened to you?!"
Owen places his hand on his bike's right handle.
Owen: "Why are you here?"
Rox: "Why are you a gang leader?!"
Owen rips out the handle, revealing that it's a sort of key.
Owen: "Because that's all I could do."
Owen looks towards Rox in particular.
Owen: "The thugs here needed someone to keep them under control."
He clenches the key and pulls the trigger, turning it into a sword.
Ariyae: "Look, I don't know what-"
Owen holds the blade centimeters away from Ariyae's throat.
Owen: "You've got two minutes to explain who she is and why you're here."
Rox put the blade down.
Rox: "Dae's in trouble and a cultist organization called the Second Page is after our powers."
Owen returns the blade into a key.
Owen: "That's all?"
Owen hops onto his bike and inserts the key.
Owen: "I'll keep an eye out."
He puts his helmet on before revving his engine.
Cale: "Owen?"
Owen: "Get out of here ASAP."
Owen rides off down the street.
Ariyae: "Looks like he's got a couple screws loose."
Rox wipes tears out of her eyes.
Rox: "(tearing up) What happened to you?"
Cale acts as a support for Rox.
Cale: "Let's head to a hotel and try and talk to him again tomorrow."
Rox: "(tearing up) Yeah..."
They head off towards any hotels nearby.
Meanwhile...
A man with darkened skin, black hair, and a red robe was watching from atop of an old apartment complex.
Man: "Looks like I got the easy one!"
He pulls out a chrome pistol from underneath his robes.
Man: "Bravery sure has seen better days."
He starts walking towards the nearby ladder.
Man: "I might just get Enthusiasm simply because her mental state is so screwy right now!"
He walks away...
