Chapter 16: I Can't Forget

The next day...

Man: "Get the attention of Bravery and the others."

The man and his men have planted bombs all over the inner workings of An abandoned subway.

Man: "Just you wait and see."

Meanwhile...

Gang Member: "Boss?"

Owen is working on the inner schematics of a large trailer, big enough to fit ten people.

Owen: "(focusing) What do you want?"

Gang Member: "Who were those people you gave the green light to yesterday? You never give the green light."

Owen gets onto his feet.

Owen: "None of your business."

Gang Member: "O-Okay! Wh-Whatever you say!"

The member leaves.

Owen: "(shedding a tear) I can't look at them."

Owen reminisces about the past.

Owen: "Not with me like this."

Owen steps outside of the room he was working in before he hears a loud explosion.

Owen: "Was that the base?!"

He looks towards the smoky entrance to an abandoned subway.

Owen: "Is this those Second Page guys?!"

Owen grabs the key out of his bike nearby and turns it into a blade.

Owen: "Looks like they'd have to show up eventually."

Owen hurries into the subway.

Meanwhile...

Makoh: "How many e-explosives do these guys have?!"

The heroes are also aware of the situation.

Ariyae: "My guess is all of them!"

They jump out of an opened window.

Cale: "Where do you think th-that explosion went off?"

They can see smoke rising to the west.

Rox: "Over there!"

They hurry over towards the smoke.

Meanwhile...

Owen is fending off against member after member of the Second Page towards the entrance to the subway.

Owen: "You guys really think you can beat th first chosen one?"

Owen is held at a stalemate since he can't take the enemies out fast enough alone.

Five minutes later...

Cale: "This looks like the spot."

They have arrived at the subway to find Owen being pushed back.

Makoh: "Owen!"

Makoh dives into the floor.

Ariyae: "Cale! Pincer maneuver!"

Cale: "H-Huh?!"

Rox: "One left, one right!"

Ariyae messes with the senses of the enemies on the right while Cale ensnares the enemies on the left and Rox breaks the bones of an enemy trying a sneak attack on Owen from behind.

Owen: "What the hell are you doing here?!"

Makoh tosses the remaining stragglers at Owen.

Makoh: "Hurry!"
