The next day...
Everyone is currently baking from a broken air conditioner, burning hot sun, and lack of anything cold in the fridge.
Ariyae: "(groaning) Why did the AC have to break now?"
Makoh is gasping for air.
Makoh: "(gasping, weakly) Water... water..."
Cale is the only one unaffected by the heat.
Cale: "I hope we can get Makoh some water soon. I know he can't die easily, but the sun and an Aqua don't mix."
Owen: "(sweating) I don't even know when we'll hit the next gas station."
The engine starts making funny noises.
Veld: "(sweating) What now?"
Rox: "(sweating) Pull over so I can take a look. I might be able to fix the AC while I'm at it."
Owen parks them over to the side of the road.
Lariat: "(sweating) Please make it quick."
Rox grabs her tools and hops outside.
Rox: "(sweating) I'm a mechanic, not a miracle worker."
She opens the hood to find a couple parts knocked out of place.
Rox: "(sweating) So our AC and engine aren't connected properly..."
She looks at the others through the windshield.
Rox: "(sweating) Just a couple parts got knocked loose, but it'll take a bit to reconnect them!"
Ariyae: "(groaning) I just hope Makoh lives to tell the tale."
Makoh is still gasping for air.
Cale: "Just wait a bit longer..."
Rox gets to work...
