Chapter 2

•[Jaz pov]•
Ok so right now Deana and I are both sitting In our English class doing no work as usual, then the dirty old principle walked in. "so what are you all learning in today's class?" she asked as she looked around the classroom.

"You Jaz can you please tell me what you are learning about today?" she asked as she pointed her old wrinkly finger at me. "well we are obviously learning about..... The ancient Romans" I said with a confident voice. "I like the confidence but you are wrong you are learning about Knights" she said.

"Yeah I knew that I was just testing you" I said and everyone in the class laughed. for the rest of the day Deana and I did the usual: do no work in class and get away with it, go on our phones all day and get in the daily argument with the town bike Steph. (Incase you didn't know what a bike is it is another word for a slut because just like a bike everyone gets a ride)

Steph is one of the biggest sluts I have ever seen in my life and she is such a bitch, she always teases Deana about her parents and that causes me to go off my head then she goes on about how I will never be a success like my brothers and that causes Deana to go off. yeah these arguments are daily now so everyone is use to it.

After a long boring day of school we walk home, we only live around the corner from our school. Deana and I are thinking about getting home schooled next year so that we didn't have to put up with all the shit. Mum said that it is ok if we did get home schooled but we want to finish year 9 first.

When we get home Mum is standing at the door with her suite case. "hey mum where are you going?" Deana asked. "well I have a very important business trip to go to and I won't be back for 2 weeks. the trip is over in Canada so I can't bring you two so you are going to have to stay here alone." mum said "but you have to promise not to trash the place and no parties?" Mum asked and we both nodded our heads.

"Ok well I have to go now the taxi is here, I will miss you both so much and remember to call me every night and if anything goes wrong dial 000 straight away and there is some money in the top draw in my room don't spend it all at once it has to do for the whole 2 weeks and that is for food and bills" mum said "yes mum we will be fine you can trust us" I said and gave mum a hug and kiss, Deana did the same then mum left.

•[ Deana pov]•
We watched as the taxi took mum out the driveway and down the street. "so what do you wanna do first?" I asked Jaz. "well I don't know, mum won't be back for 2 weeks and no one is here to tell us not to do anything..... so let's go to Starbucks" Jaz said and I agreed.

Yes we are typical white girls and we need Starbucks. luckily for us we only have to ride our penny boards about 2 blocks and there is the Main Street which has satrbucks, McDonalds and a huge shopping centre.

We got changed into some trackies and crop tops then we got our penny boards and grabbed some money then left. we aren't going to spend all of the money on crap but we still have our own money that we get paid so yeah we will be fine when it comes to money.

We rode to Starbucks, got inside and ordered our drinks. we come to Starbucks almost everyday and we order the same thing everyday so we are known here, so all we have to do is go up to the counter and say that we will have 'the usual' and they will get our drinks for us.

"So 2 weeks alone in our house" Jaz said as she sat down at the table with me. "yeah" I said then our names got called and we got our drinks. "so I was thinking that when we got home we could go for a swim?" Jaz asked "yeah that sounds like a good idea" I said.

We finished our drinks and threw our rubbish in the bin. we skated back to the house and went inside. I went up to my room and got changed into my bikini and so did Jaz, then we went downstairs and got in the pool.

After a while I got tired so I dried off and went inside to watch a movie. I put on 'the lion king'. I don't know why but this is one of my favourite movies. Jaz joined me and we both laughed and cried together as the movie went on.

It started getting late so I went up to my room and got ready for bed. Jaz cleaned up down stairs and locked all of the doors and windows then she went to her room and went to bed.

"Good night Deana" Jaz yelled from down the hall, "good night Jaz" I yelled back. then I slowly fell asleep.
