Alone, I sat at the Grill picking on the food that I wasn't even intending to eat. I spent the evening here last night, right until they closed and came back the second they opened the next morning. I had nowhere else to go. I couldn't stay at the Lockwoods because the Salvatores made up a lie of Mason leaving and even if I left Mystic Falls, where would I go then? The werewolf pack back in Florida wouldn't accept me without Mason and I couldn't just possibly move elsewhere so quick.

Also, I could feel something coming – I might have never been the one for Divination but with this I was sure and if that something wasn't good, especially for the Salvatores, I couldn't leave without seeing their downfall.

I ignored the girl who sat in the seat in front of me, I wanted nothing else to do with any of them – not Caroline, not Elena and not Bonnie. "Hey." Bonnie said silently and I rolled my eyes. "Haven't I made it clear that I hate all of you and don't want anything to do with you?"

"Look, I'm sorry about what they did to Mason." Bonnie said apologetically but it didn't make a difference. The damage had already been done and nothing she could have said or done would change that.

"Seriously? You think I would ever forgive the people who killed the only person I had left in my life? No, darling, I will get my revenge, one way or another and all of you will fall in the end." I stood up, her following suit. I bumped my shoulder into hers, pushing her back but she still hurried after me. "Come on! I didn't know they would kill him! If I did I would have warned you... I'm your friend."

She whispered the last part. If this was what she counted as a friendship, I didn't know how she survived this long. "Friends don't betray friends, Bonnie. You should know that by now."

"Look, I'm not here for this today. I came to inform you that we are planning to kill Katherine today. At the masquerade ball so if you are interested come along."

"And why would I do that, Bonnie? I would much rather kill Stefan and Damon."

"Katherine started this all. You know she did."

I contemplated it. It didn't seem like those two idiots could ever kill Katherine – she appeared too smart to fall into their traps so maybe, just maybe I could hit two birds with one stone. It would be funny to see them fail and even if they didn't Katherine would be dead so it would be one less problem to worry about.

"Fine."

The Boarding House got fairly quiet the moment I stepped in, everyone staring at me with wide eyes as if expecting me to lash out. I put my hands up in defence. "Not here to kill you yet, so you can calm down. I'm only here because I want Katherine dead too."

I walked around seeing all the different weapons before snatching a stake and placing it in my pocket. "So, what's the plan?"

"Caroline lures her into a room which Bonnie put a spell on so she couldn't leave. Me and Damon will be waiting there to kill her. Easy as that." Stefan quickly explained as I nodded.

"I mean, I don't think you are even capable of killing her. One of you will probably hesitate and ruin the whole plan." I declared and both of them shook their heads. "We have been waiting to kill that bitch for a long time, we are not about to pass it up."

"But why am I here exactly?"

"You are going to go with Ric to watch Elena so she doesn't do anything stupid. Knowing her she will try to stop everything and ruin the whole plan." Damon said quite emotionlessly. He seemed to be like that the whole time, avoiding looking at me or even speaking to me. Maybe the guilt set in.

"Fine. It's not like I have a dress anyways but you better not fuck it up." I walked out the room, following Alaric to the car in silence. It was strange seeing his other side. I would have never guessed he was a vampire hunter in his spare time because who would ever suspect the teachers? It was strange how everyone had secrets that no one even thought about and I couldn't help but wonder what else were these people hiding.
