Tyler, I had to find Tyler. How could I have forgotten about him? How could I have possibly forgotten the fact that he triggered the curse and became a werewolf? It was a full moon tomorrow; his first transformation and Mason wasn't even there to guide him. He wasn't going to be there to help him, protect him, console him – I couldn't do it the same as Mason, no matter how much I wanted to. He wouldn't trust me the same either; I was just a random girl that stayed in his house for a couple of days and only talked to him a few times. I was a no one to him but that didn't matter anymore because I had to help him.

I ventured to the place I knew he would be at – Lockwood Mansion.

"Tyler? You here?" I shouted, knocking at the door. He opened it soon after, his eyes wide and his voice shaky. "Mia?" Quickly, I was engulfed in a hug by the muscly boy as he squeezed me tightly as if he was holding onto life itself.

"Where is Mason? If you are here, shouldn't he be here too?" He asked after finally letting me go and I shook my head. "He's not here but he asked me to help you."

A noise came from the other room; it sounded like a groan, a yell of pain and I walked in there only to see a computer with a video playing on it. It was a video of Mason turning which I quickly shut off – it would only make Tyler more scared. "Don't watch that."

I have heard the stories of the pain they had to go through, the suffering they felt when each of their bones broke and broke again. It was truly a curse. This type of werewolves was different from the ones I used to know, these ones had to be born in the bloodline rather than be bitten and these ones had to go through immense pain when turning – it was much worse for these ones and I didn't understand what Tyler could have ever done to deserve such a fate.

"Look Tyler, you just have to go through the first few ones – after that it won't hurt as much, it will get better." I assured him and he ran his fingers through his hair. "How do you know about this?"

"That isn't important right now. What is important is for you to calm down." I patted his shoulder in comfort. I was never very good at such things.

That night, I stayed at the Lockwood's house - I texted Bonnie that I wasn't going to come there today so she wouldn't worry. Tyler insisted that I would sleep there, saying that he wanted to talk more and he needed the company. After that evening, I knew that deep inside somewhere, Tyler was a nice guy.

In the morning, we were ready to head out and prepare for the long day ahead.

"Heading out, Tyler? Oh Mia! I wasn't expecting to see you here again so soon?" She said with a smile but I could easily tell that she didn't enjoy me being back here again. "Yeah... Me and Mia are gonna get lunch at the grill, I've got practice and I'll probably go out after. I'll be late." He said all that without looking at his mother, fiddling with the big gym back that was filled with chains and wolfsbane – everything he was going to need in the night to come.

The doorbell rang through the house and me and Tyler went to check it out. When I opened the door, I wasn't expecting to see Jules out of all people and for a moment or so I wish that I hadn't opened that door at all. "Mia, long time no see!" She greeted cheerfully and I nodded along. Me and her were never best of friends, maybe it was just because we didn't spend enough time with each other or maybe we just never liked one another at all.

"Hi!" She looked at Tyler who hesitantly greeted her back.

"Sorry, rude. You have no idea who I am. I'm Jules, a friend of Mason's from Florida. You must be Tyler."

"Yeah? Nice to meet you." He said that in an unsure voice.

"So,  I know it is weird of me to just stop by but I'm trying to track down Mason." My heart stopped for a second. Yes, I did want to tell Tyler what happened, I really did but what would he do if he did know? If he tried to kill the vampires, he would just end up dead himself and if he outed them to the whole city, they would find out about everyone, even Tyler himself.
