"You are getting a free house? Just like that?" I asked and Elena gave me a grin. She had been like that for the past few days, ever since we had found out about your connections – she refused to leave me alone saying we needed this bonding time. Whilst we didn't tell anyone about it yet, I could tell they were suspicious as of how Elena was acting and I couldn't blame them; she was indeed acting like an annoying little sister.
"For now. As whole owner, I'm the only one who can invite a certain type of person in here if you know what I mean." An evil smirk graced her lips as she thought about all the fun she was going to have annoying all the vampires she knew by not inviting them in.
"Your own personal safe house." Bonnie raised her eyebrows as Elena nodded. "That is the idea."
"Would want to clean it." That was when they laughed while I just cracked a small smile.
"By the way Mia, you are coming to school with me." Elena stated and I laughed in absurd. "You must be joking – I'm already 19, I'm too old for school. I went once with Caroline and it was terrible so I'd rather just stay here, thank you very much." Yet, she was not having any of it. "Come on Mia, you told me we should get to know each other better and going to school with me will make it much easier."
"Elena, when I said that I didn't mean spending every bloody second of the day together." She rolled her eyes at my discouragement, saying "I will not take no for an answer so do not even try it. We are going."
"Do you even realise that I won't even understand anything there? I haven't gone to an actual muggle school in 9 years."
"I don't know what that means but it doesn't matter, we are going."
"Thank you, Mister Henry." The old man that helped Elena sign the papers for the house walked out the door where the Salvatores stood outside waiting for an invitation to get in. They walked closer to the door as they saw Elena coming and I chuckled knowing what she was planning to do now. She looked at Stefan saying, "I'm sorry, I completely forgot. Stefan, would you like to come inside my house?"
"I would love to. Thank you." He grinned happily and Damon stared at the couple with a scowl – still outside unable to come in. "What are we, twelve?" He asked and Elena gave him a dirty look. "One of you are." I shouted from my place on the sofa where I could still see and hear everything. "Not helping!" He shouted back just as loud even though I could hear him just fine.
"If I let you in do you promise to obey the owner of this house?" The answer to the question was obvious and Elena knew it too. "No." Me and Bonnie said at the same time as Damon, chuckling slightly before Bonnie turned to look at me. "Mia?"
"Hm?" I hummed in response. "Do you want to practice some magic with me when you are free? Since you know, you are a witch too and I still need some help." I shrugged, not sure how I was supposed to help her when we did different types of magic but still decided I could help. "Sure but maybe later though. I better go now, before Elena notices."
"Too late now." Bonnie whispered as just as I was about to grab my stuff and leave, Elena blocked my path smiling smugly as I groaned. "Where do you think you are going?"
"Wait - where are you going?" Stefan asked again appearing out of nowhere.
"School."
"We didn't create a safe house for you to leave it." Damon looked at Elena like she was crazy.
"Yeah, guys, Klaus is out there. We know that." I didn't want to see Klaus again, not now, not ever. Perhaps I just wanted to avoid any reminder that I actually did know him and all of them before as I wasn't the same person I was then. Also, Klaus wanted to kill Elena and now I could no longer let that happen – she was my sister. "But where?"
