"Could I ask why exactly did you wake me up so early in the morning? It's still bloody dark outside!" I exclaimed – the whole night I couldn't fall asleep yet the moment I felt like I was dozing off, I was rudely woken up by a certain blonde vampire at whose house I stayed for the night. It was like I was moving between all of the little 'Elena gang' member's houses. Caroline got ready for school, dragging me along with her so we could talk to Tyler.

"We need the precious time to get ready. And don't even try to get out of this – we are going to school to see how Tyler is." She stated, already predicting my refusal. "Caroline, I'm too old for school and you know that."

"Minor details, Mia." When she was finally ready after doing her hair for almost an hour and picking out the perfect outfit, as she put it, for another, we were finally ready to go out to the school. The only time I actually went to a muggle school was before I was accepted into Hogwarts and even then, I missed many days due to random sicknesses and my parents' travels so I wasn't very well equipped for going now – I was only planning to stay for the talk with Tyler before leaving anyways.

When we arrived, Tyler wasn't too hard to notice. He was standing a bit further away from us, wearing his jersey. He saw us soon after, his gaze staying on Caroline for a bit longer than usual – wasn't his best friend Matt dating her? This seemed to go on for quite a bit – each of them giving each other longing looks when the other wasn't looking.

"Tyler! How are you feeling?" I asked when we walked up to him, a little smirk on my face when he looked at Caroline once more. "I'm okay. Sore. I mean every muscle aches."

"You did it, Tyler! I bet this was even better than Mason's full moon – from what I heard anyways." Tyler smiled, despite the tiredness that was clearly present after last night; he had dark circles under his eyes which were so bad that it seemed like someone punched him and every time he took a step, he winced demonstrating the muscle aches that he was going through. "You think?" "Of course! The first full moon for Mason... well yeah. But the most important thing is that you didn't get out. You should thank Caroline for that."

Today appeared like it was a good day – everyone was smiling and laughing, all the problems seemingly left in the past. Everything was good and that made me slightly giddy – for once there were no problems, at least not for today. "Thank you. I don't know what I would've done if you weren't been there." Caroline stared at him, he stared at her. Then Caroline started laughing and stammering. "Um, yeah, anyways, um, next month, we should probably, uh, reinforce the wall... because, I mean you almost got us one time and it just would've been, um..." I shook my head at her subtly – if he knew he would have freaked out.

"What?"

"Never mind. It's..."

"Hey, no.  Hey, no. What...? What is it?" I knew she was going to tell him by then, it was obvious that she couldn't keep a secret from him. "Well, it's not a big thing. It's just that one bite... and it's, uh, you know, curtains for me."

"What are you talking about?"

"Look Tyler, what Caroline is trying to say is that if you bite her, she dies so you better refrain from doing so." I explained knowing that if I didn't, Tyler would never let it go. "How do you know that?"

"I read books, Tyler."

"Hey Caroline, you got a second?" Here comes Matt.

"Uh, yeah, sure."

"We better go then." I dragged Tyler away, giving the couple some space. I looked back at them for a second, seeing them laughing before kissing slowly – here went my thoughts about her and Tyler. At least he didn't see them. "So Tyler, when are you planning to tell Caroline?"
