From the moment that Klaus stepped into Gloria's bar, I knew that my life couldn't be as peaceful as it has been for the past few months - I knew that he wouldn't just allow me to live my life how I wanted. But what I didn't expect was for Klaus Mikaelson, the Original Hybrid that made people tremble with just his name, to make me go shopping. Yes, shopping didn't sound as the worst possible thing that I could do, but I wasn't too keen on spending hours picking out clothes for Rebekah. Actually, I would have been much happier to just stay in my little room reading another book but I wasn't given an opportunity to escape. Stefan had approached me when I was sipping on my drink and not paying attention to the world.

"You need to come with me." He had said with his monotone voice but I decided against moving from my spot. I stared up at him with no emotion on my face. "Look, I don't want to go there as much as you but if you don't come, they won't be happy."

"Why are you here with him Stefan? Why aren't you back home with Elena?"" I asked, ignoring his plead. "It's not a good time to talk about this, but I do want to thank you for what you did. Elena is alive because of you."

"Well, that probably won't last. He will find out and kill us all."

"He will also kill us if we don't go shopping with them." He said frustratedly as he ran his fingers through his hair. Stefan knew I wasn't going to comply so easily.

His phone rang and a groan escaped his lips. "Yes, Klaus?" There was a slight pause. "She isn't coming with me." "Fine. I know. I'll bring her now." "Bye." Then without any warning he grabbed my arm and sped off with his vampire speed. His grip on my arm was tight and the wind was harsh meaning I could not get myself free until he stopped. The journey did not last for too long and soon we stood in front of a posh looking shop which I dreaded to go into. Me and Stefan shared a similar pained look and I was slightly relieved that I wasn't the only one suffering this. "Well, here goes nothing." I whispered to myself as I stepped into the shop, a bell ringing after me.

An employee poured Klaus a glass of champagne. "Took you long enough, love." I scowled at him as Stefan took a seat on the sofa beside him.

"There has to be more to this dress." A girl's voice said from the changing room. "There's not." Klaus replied.

"So women in the 21st century dress as prostitutes then. You know I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." The same woman that I saw dead just yesterday had regained her normal skin colour and didn't look corpse like any more and no longer did she wear an old- fashioned dress but rather a modern one which was short and black, revealing almost everything to the prying eyes. Yet somehow, she still managed to look graceful and good.

A nostalgic feeling rushed over me as I remembered a time in which we were in an almost exactly same scenario as we were preparing for a night out. The only difference was the fashion style and my fondness for them.

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing."

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." She complained once again not even noticing my presence.  "It's dance music." Stefan answered already looking done with this trip. "People dance to this?"

"Are we done?" Klaus questioned, also annoyed with his sister. "And why are you so grumpy?"

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids were dying. One thing. The necklace. And you lost it." Me and Stefan shared a concerned look as we both knew how this would end. "I didn't lose it. It just has been missing for 90 years." She turned to Stefan. "So what do you think."

"I like it. What? I said I like it."

"I can always tell when you are lying." She went back into the changing room and Stefan finally got his escape from here whilst I wasn't so lucky. I sat in the seat which he previously occupied and frowned at Klaus. "I don't see why I'm here – you could have easily suffered this one on your own. No need to drag me and Stefan down with you."
