Amy turned off her motorcycle and sighed. She had been traveling for a little over week now, and finally came to the place where her parents had died. Where she last saw her innocence. The place where everything she knew and loved died. She took off her helmet and took a look around. The skies were gray, and the area was full of trees and mountains. Seemed to match her mood.
How much longer would she have to keep travelling? Did she really run all this way when she was younger?
"Ames."
'Oh no! They found me...' Amy closed her eyes and slowly reached out for ignition. The team had caught up to and she wasn't ready to give an explanation or face them yet. And running away will solve your problems? She grimaced at that thought. Her fingers tightly gripped the key.
"Amy, dare you run away from your brother? Again?"
She stopped. The pink hedgehog slowly turned around and saw the one she had been looking for. The green hedgehog with ice blue eyes. "Big brother..." Tears began to rim her eyes. "Scourge...! You're okay...!" She cried, dropping her helmet and rushed off of her cycle. Once her feet hit the ground she sprinted to the older hedgehog.
He chuckled lightly as Amy crushed him in a hug, crying into his scarred chest. Scourge hugged her back just as hard, stroking her quills. "Hey there Rosie. How have you been? Long time no see."
Amy pulled away, still crying. "I've been...good... Scourge, I'm sorry for running away. I never should have done it, I'm a bad sister!"
Scourge gave Amy a small smile. "It's okay Amy. You were suffocating in the air you were living in. You wanted to get away and forget the pain you were living for a while. That's okay," Scourge assured her.
"Okay... And Rosy?" She finally asked, calmed down after a bit.
Scourge frowned. No need to tell her that Rosy had died trying to rob a bank. "She left."
Amy raised a brow. "Where to?"
Scourge shrugged and shook his head. "She only said she wanted to be alone. Didn't want to know about her family what so ever."
"Oh..." Amy sighed, looking down.
The elder hedgehog noticed her change in attitude and cleared his throat, walking over to her bike. "You've been working, Rosie," he whistled, admiring her bike.
Amy looked up to her brother and then to the motorcycle. "I guess you could say that, I've had many jobs to keep me going. I have a house, that bike and I also have a black camaro with white racing stripes."
"Looks like you turned all dark and evil on me, Amelia," Scourge smirked, putting his hand on one handle. "And look at the helmet. A rose with a gun. Are you sure you're my little sister who ran away twelve years ago?"
"Yeah... Dark." Amy sighed, looking down at the dirt and her shoes. Then she caught on, her gaze turned fury and pointed a finger at the green hedgehog. "Hey! Of course I am!"
"Yeah yeah, what ever you say," Scourge chuckled."Something tells me that you didn't just come to see me. And looks like you'll be staying long, considering that fat bag on your back. Here let me help you, before you break it."
Amy had to laugh, but also groaned as the weight was lifted. She hadn't really been paying attention to her back until now. "Thanks bro..." A few shoulder movements and her bone popped now and then Scourge slightly cringed at the sound.
"Anytime Amy. So wanna come over to my place and talk there?" He said, weighing the bag in his hands before putting it on. "You're a wimp, this isn't even that heavy!"
